Beanie, Thanks but its all been undone :( But its all good and I am so not worried about it :T I am now attending Bunny's birthday party so I am adding about the same back to my debt but its all manageable and I will be back before payday with my final figures etc :D

Mums birthday was the 25th, I brought her a glass rose last year and the fudge hamper, however its tradition that we go out for our birthdays. I totally forgot so thats that :o Ohhh when is it? has she requested anything?

Sally, thanks Hug_by_Abfc.gif I am ok, just 'stuff' I am getting there and today I am feeling the best I have in the past two weeks. But do you know whats really strange, I can link it all back to eating :o I am back now... I think

Ohhh Beanie, not long, have you decided what you are going to buy her/take her? I guess it shouldnt be 'that' hard :o

So I have added up everything and brought everything I would 'need' while on our little road trip and it would appear I am in £270.83 of debt... This however includes the <£20 already sat on the card. Its split between £90 argos 0% and £180.83 CC 3%. Can I add though the £90 is actually £55 of diet meals and I still have the £35 odd left in my account. So that's the total I am working on just now, I will take my CC with me just incase anything happens but it shouldn't :D

The plain is to clear this within 3 months and before my holiday. So I am aiming to pay £64 in Feb, £100 in March and £90 in April. This will mean some very frugal months, and dare I say it no disposable income some months but thats fine. My plan is to get walking to/from work again to claw back £20 or so and also grab some overtime if its avalible. I am also quite lucky as I have stocktake soon in wok which should net me £60 for a couple nights work.

This would then make me debt free in April and Mays disposable will be used while on holiday which means saving can't start until June. As I say though I am in no way guilty/depressed about this as I really want to see some DFW's who haven't been at other meets and also it would be one of only two I would make this year, the second being the RFL already payed for except train tickets. So thats that, back on the debt wagon. However as always if I plod I cant clear this, its just knuckling down and doing it.

My £1 a day is going well and I only actually have 14 days left with just under £18 left :) Of course if this isnt used it will go start off the debt. We are however heading into town tomorrow so unsure what will happen there. I may purchase a few notepads in the poundshop but thats all really, parking & postage. I have also been through my wardrobe/toiletries/stuff and apart from maybe some tablets I am ok for nearly 4/5 months :T

So mucho frugal living and plodding going on for a few months :D All good though :j

    Keep going all

Very frugal living here too....aiming for 20 NSD's this month

Well done pap the main thing is you know exactly where every penny is spent and that is the main way of tackling the debt!

  • Thanks Beanie and Sally. Sometimes I think a little frugal living really helps anayways. As a country we are pushed into a materialistic living that getting back to little/no spends its cleansing and makes you realise life isnt just about having stuff... which braings me to a quote 'Life is not a having and a getting, but a being and a becoming' :j So true...

Sally, Thanks I am very conscious about my debt. Everything I have spent for the party alone I have listed seperately and I know exactly where every penny has gone. Maybe its a little too controlling but I cant work any other day. The thought of being let lose with my credit card and not thinking about the debt/balance feels me with dread. I don't know how people can do it :o

Well I did go to town today because Mum wanted some tiles for the bathroom. So I had planned on buying notebooks but I actually found 2 last night in my room so instead I brought some replacement tablets, see all go. I did however spend £4 that was technically unbudgetted :o I brought some tights for the meet, I thought I had brought some, but I hadn't. Then I also brought a gift box reduced in the body shop. I have always wanted to try their body butters but £12.50 was a bit off putting. So this box has a mini body butter, shower gel (at least 15 washes) and a scrunchie thing, not too bad I dont think.

I was also treated by my Mum in Lush. I have never had anything from them before but I like the fact its vegan friendly. Plus because I told her I had never been before I got two samples free :T Now I just hope I dont get hooked because £3.00 for a bar of soap isnt very MSE :o

    So spends ~
    1st ~ £2.00 tights + £2.00 body shop + 98p tablets = £18.36/£31.00 :T

    Keep plodding all :A
  • Hiya PaP, still plodding along here... How's things with you?
