hi as anybody got they printer yet????????
just rang index and have been told all our letters are going to legal
department and we will be contacted to say how they are going to be
sent either from hp or business express have been told to give it another
week and we should have a letter then or another usb lead!!!!!!!!!

I am just sitting tight on this one. No point in pushing it at the moment. You have the letter telling you you will get a printer and thats the important thing. It takes time to co-ordinate this sort of thing and make sure they don't have another stuff up... I'm beftting on end of Feb early March. You get what you pay for...

We'll all be getting an email soon with a number to call to arrange the swap. I was told it should be today, but nothing yet, so maybe on monday .

So does this mean that those of us that returned it, as suggested by their CS, miss out? thats pathetic, I will be complaining some more if this is the case.

To be fair, singhfello......since Index agreed to supply the printer, it was always subject to a swap for the usb thing.

Many of us refused to return our usb things within the 14 day timeframe, as this was effectively ending our dealings with them if we did return it.

We were willing to take the risk of being left with the usb thing, as we thought we had a good case.

It paid off for us but I'm not sure those who sent theirs back have any kind of comeback now tbh.

I do wish you luck though.

My usb thing was returned singhfello, but I still got the letter offering me a printer

There's a thing... I didn't bother opening the blue bag when it came first time round, just stapled the delivery note to it and sat it on a shelf. Maybe it's something really interesting!!! Although I have a feeling it's just a USB Bar all the same

Sent my letter back by return, so hopefully we're in a good position.

I returned my usb stick straight away and got a refund, but I also got the letter.
As far as I am concerned they admitted the contract by sending me the letter and dispatching me something which I returned because it was the wrong something.
If they attempt to not give me a printer, after sending me the letter, just because I kept within their T&Cs by returning a wrongly delivered item I will not be a happy bunny.:)
