Thanks Cake. You are brilliant for doing all the updating. I am beginning to wonder if my £5k was a bit over-optimistic but never mind. Not quite half way yet, but i can't see me making £1400 into £2500 this month. I am trying my best though.

I just signed up to another couple of mystery shopping companies, arranged a weekend away for the cost of petrol and a couple of sandwiches, and i have sold my soul to the devil known as ebay. Planning to put my double buggy on tomorrow in the hope of getting some more cash for holiday spends at the end of the month to save raiding the savings. (So far a free weeks use of the in-laws 2nd house on the coast, just a bit of petrol and parking, plus a few ice creams to find. )

Anyone else finding it really hard going or is it just me?

    cha97michelle,

Least you've got a good target to aim for. Even if you don't reach your goal in the end you'd paid a nice big chunk off the mortgage but keep trying :). I'm also not sure if my target of £2,000 is reachable, as it stands I'm a bit under half way so far. Having worked out the spare money for the next sixth months I should be able to reach the target but its going to take a lot of restraint and discipline on the monthly expenditure.

Cakes21, Thanks for all the effort putting the spreadsheet together and keeping it updated. :T

Thanks Simba. I know i do better than so many, but i think the temptation is that however well you are doing then you want to do better don't you.

Here is to another 6.5 months of self restraint and being able to meet our targets by whichever means we can. Hopefully not by complete abstinence. :D

#29 reporting in for June. Got back after a break of a few days to find my automated overpayment for June has cleared :D

OP of £500 puts year to date overpayments at £3,000 meaning I'm exactly at my half way point towards my 2010 goal of £6,000.

That's me for June. Next overpayment will be collected on 1st July.

Off to update via Google docs form...
