Number 193 here.
I've updated on the Spreadsheet, but June's payment (after the S/O goes) will be £85.38. I won't post all of my OPs as I tend to do them daily...Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
No 15 reporting in. My first overpayment on my new increased mortgage - made this today of £95 (only a small amount to see if this works and then I can make a larger overpayment next week). At least Im back be able to overpaying now and try to reduce my mortgage to a manageable level in 2yrs.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46
Overpayments 2006-2009 = £11985; 2010 = £6170, 2011 = £5570, 2012 = £12900 -
I've just reported in a £500 overpayment for June. It has been hard work getting there with lots of listing and relisting on ebay till it does sell, and also a bit of mystery shopping and amazon too. The best input has been getting a child tax credits rebate and also DH working some overtime.
I am expecting it to go downhill from here to be honest. We are scheduled to have a new boiler fitted on the 28th of June, and a new bathroom at the same time. We are away that week too, although a cheap option of staying with family, we will still need some spending money.
Then i guess we need to see the results of the Budget and hope that we also keep at 0.5% base rate for a bit longer. I am going to keep trying but i am seeing anything i can manage as a bonus.0 -

Well done £500 is an excellent OP. We're going on hols in a week too, so will need some spending money and then I've got a 'boys' weekend walking holiday, which will set me back £300. Still aiming to pay against my target, plus more if I can.0 -

Congrats. I seem to remember reading somewhere that you've just moved house, like me? It took us a while to make OPs a priority again, but back on track now and feeling better for it. Trying not to become too obsessive about it though (I say that as I'm sat at home trying to 'squeeze' my monthly outgoings budget in order to make another OP!). I got two mini kegs of beer for last weekends England game from a local brewery and I have one left in the garage, which will save me from going to the pub this weekend - more money to OP with :rotfl:0 -
Can i join the challenge please, I come out of my fixed rate next month, and will start over paying from then. My target is £2000 over payment for the rest of this year0
