Hi all,
Just a quick note in this 2010 thread - I've just decided to extend the registration period in the Mortgage Free in Three (MFiT-T2) challenge until 31st December.
If you're interested in a longer challenge (I'm doing this 2010 challenge also), then this is a final call for the MFiT-T2 challenge. This second deadline will NOT be extended.
Please post in the MFiT-T2 thread which is here, PM me or otherwise make your presence known...Before 23.59 on 31st December 2009Thanks,

Hi Cake and other 2010 MFWanabees,
Thanks for the add to the list. Very clever how you have done the links - am totally in awe! And the update tool thingy.
Need something to obsess about in 2010 as it would seem that my marriage is over after less than a year, so the mortgage it will be. Might be trollbeads too though - keep accidentally (?) buying them on ebay!
Looking forward to making a real difference.
Good luck everyone!

Hi Cake,
I'm up for joining your 2010 challenge. Can I have a number, please? My mortgage balance is about £47,000, and my aim is to overpay by £8,500.
I've been slacking a bit this year. Several months ago my mortgage payment went down by £80 per month and my salary went up by £60 per month, but I'm still using the old figures in my budget and the money has just disappeared.
My Nationwide mortgage allows unlimited overpayments, so I've asked them to put my standard monthly payment back up to the previous amount. I've also set up the overpayment details as a new transfer on internet banking, ready to start overpaying in January.
Good luck in 2010!0 -
