Hi
Number 13 reporting in.
I'm off for a few days, but during that time £750 will go towards my mortgage savings, officially 1st Jan ( due to bank holiday probably 4th Jan!) Cake you may pick up that I've also paid some money towards my mortgage for December but please don't include this in the 2010 figure.
Many thanks CC.0 -
Hi,

Afternoon, i would like to join this if i can?
We are outstanding £165k on our mortgage and would like to make overpayments of £40,000 in 2010.
We plan to make an initial overpayment of £25,000 on January 4th leaving £15,000 to be covered over the coming 12 months!
Its a scary thought for us but the dream of being mortgage free in the next 5 years is hopfully going to help!
Many thanks

On a slightly serious note, aren't there any small OP targets out there? When I first started OPing it was £10-20 per month. Was it just me?
Or are people with a £100/year target (say) not interested in joining a challenge(s)? Or something else?

hiya
I have just filled in the form can i be added to this years list please. Although we had a hiccup with dh injury, we are still trying to overpay our mortgage but not as much as would have been possible before, as they say, every little helps!
I would like to reduce the mortgage to 80,000 this year from 87,948 which is what it is as at todays date. Hopefully through out the year we will be able to increase the overpayments to achieve this.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun
Mortgage as at Dec 08 : £93,077.00
Mortgage as at Dec 09 : £ 87,948.12
Mortgage as at Dec 10 : £ 83,680.23
Mortgage target for Dec 11: £73,680.230
