After a freezing night in bed last night (forgot to dry my duvet!) winceyett ones sound rather nice Shez! I remember borrowing my nans nighty once - and it was a very old style high neck winceyett nighty. Not very glam, but oh so cosy.... (she didn't believe in heating the house at night AT ALL)
    G'night,

Morning PP! Hope you feel better soon. :o

Big hugs to Moggins. Take care hun. :o

Kazonline, Shez, wincyette, there's a word I haven't heard for a while! Will endeavour to use in conversation today. :D

Mushypeas, have you always had good luck in your matchmaking? I ask as I have a friend just back from travelling in India, doing good works building in the tsunami hit areas, and a girl friend who sings with me, and I think they'd be great together. ;) She and I met him in the deli while we were having lunch, and she said he was cute. Should I engineer a meeting?

Roz, I'm with everyone else - yuk, yuk:mad: , yuk:mad: . Get out while you still have your sanity, rather than a dose of something worse.

Exciting day today - being media tartlet and doing interview for local TV. Done newspaper and radio before, but this is new.

DH went to work v early. Chaps in his lift share agreed that they'd go in at crack of dawn and be home in good time to open the tinnies  for the footie.

DD and DS now have their novelty hands, so will wave them at the TV. Come on Engerland!! :j :j

Singing tonight (choir, I'm not that good). We're doing a piece by Westlife, which is actually pretty good, and one called "the Music's always there with you".   Pure, 100%, full fat Gorgonzola! Also Borodin and Verdi, :o which is the sort of music I prefer to sing.

Hugs to all, and enjoy your day all.

Morning both and all to follow!
Got up quite late this morn as had a late night waiting for my duvet to dry.
DS1 has history exam today, and this is the first that he doesn't feel confident with. Reminded him that he only took it because there was nothing else in the option column!
Only a quickie today due to lateness - no doubt will sneak back on later.....
Bread out of B/M, dishwasher emptied, and tea half drunk.
Only an hour to myself today so will try and do a sprint clean before picking DS1 up again. Daren't do housework when he's home for fear of disturbing him!
Penny pincher - I really hope you feel better soon, and if you do get to the hospital that it all goes well.

Penelope Penguin, Sounds like you've a V busy day. How do you manage to do so much? Intruiged to know how you are going to drop 'wynciette' into your conversation today... the mind boggles. I worked in a call center for a while and one of the 'games' the lads used to play was that they'd pick a random word (eg banana) that then had to be used during their sales pitch - he who used it most in any one call was of course king!!!

Ok Pc keeps freezing - perhaps trying to tell me I'd best get on!
Hopefully catch up with all later,

PennyPincher - hope you feel better and it goes well at the hospital.

Just off to dry my hair then have got to go too Dartford - hopefully the roads and bridge is ok. On way home have got to pop into Lakeside return some stuff & get cards and gifts for fathers day.

Hopefully will do some housework this afternoon so can then relax & watch the football.

    Have a good day all.

morning pp and penny and everyone else to follow
for some reason THe site is only allowing me to do a quick reply. (confused)
ROZ- urgh that is nasty, hope she has cleaned it up and you get out over the weekend as planned.
PP - hope you start to feel better and the trip to the hossie goes ok.
PENNY- hope you enjoy your exciting day, i wish mine was exciting LOL

Well I am getting really peed off with one of my neighbours, he has attached himself to us and comes round every evening completely disrupting mine and the kids bedtime schedule GRRRRRRRRR. The trouble is he is such a nice bloke my dp doesn't want to offend him. I think I will have tell him tonight that 2 maybe 3 evenings a week is enough, as my 2 youngest weren't in bed until 10 last night, because he was here until 9.15pm, then I need at least an hour without the kids, so we all end up shattered and grumpy (espescially me). soory enough of the rant.
Need to pop into town to hand natwest a copy of my credit report, because I was defaulted a few years back and I dont want delay my application for a new current account.
Also need to put up my curtain pole and curtains and some new shelves in the lounge, was hoping to get it done last night, but youve guessed it the bloke was here.
We have had a new gym open with 4 squid a week membership, inc all services, so am very tempted, but don't know if I will find the time to go or not, am going to have a look round later today.
Need to put on a load of washiing and do the last of the washing up.
Does anyone have any recomendations of cheap buy decent shampoo, after trying sevaral cheaper brands over the last 2 month have had to go back to forking out £3 a bottle, because they all dried up my hair, I wouldn't mind forking this nuch out, but I can guarentee that dp and dd 7yo will nick it, so when I next go to use it there will be nothing left.
Right best go and get the day started properly.

    Morning everyone

Another lovely bright and sunny day here :D

Day off today so loads to do. Going to get ready soon and head off for the weekly shop. Also have a pair of shoes and jeans that I got last week that need returning so will get that done when I am out.

A load of washing is already finished and hanging up. Have another load to do but will wait until I am back.

It's my sister's birthday today so will be popping to see her at some point. It was also my dad's b/day on Tuesday. Good planning there

All rooms to be tidied/cleaned/hoovered. There is a small bundle of ironing as well but will either wait until its a bit cooler or delegate that task ;)

Have a great day folks :D
