Hi there
This is my first post on this thread. I have two young boys and the school hols begin on Friday  Unfortuntely, I twisted my back last Thursday and can only race around slowly (!). This morning I drove to the gym for 6.30am and had a steam, swim and jacuzzi before everyone was up, my back has eased too.
I am self employed and work from home, so getting space for me is almost impossible when everyone is home. I need to generate a space in the house where I don't get disturbed - the bathroom lock can be opened from the outside and the kids have worked out how to do it.
My older son is finishing primary 1 (he is six) and seems quite unsettled about term ending and having a new teacher, he is back to wetting his bed. This is quite normal for him and so I am considering going back to pyjama pants when we go on holiday.
Severe lack of sleep is giving me a flat mood, even though my life is going well. I often fall asleep on the floor whilst playing with my four year old through sheer exhaustion.
Anyway, I am glad to be here and looking forward to making connections with all of you.:A May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead. :rotfl:0 -
Morning All
Newsflash from Joannas house DD has slept through the night and is still asleep at 8.30 :j
So that means that I get to read the thread this morning without a small person trying to climb on my knee.
Queenie: You are a busy bee, its inspiring that you get so much done at home and still have time to help out your friends. I hope that your DS is happy with the languages that the school have picked for him, you'll have to go to night school and learn a language then the kids cant conspire against you :rotfl:
rchddap1 and cha97michelle: The tiredness does go away eventually, I suddenly got an energy surge when I stopped being sick which was at about 25 weeks  . This lasted until I was about a week overdue and then I went back to sleeping for England until bubs arrived.
PP: I'm sure it will go OK tonight, if its any consulation something like that would turn me into a nervous reck and I havent even got wheels. If anybody gives you any funny looks run over there foot.
Chipps: Have a good holiday.
Catowen and JocketUK: Good luck with your appointments.
Everybody else hope you have a lovely OS day.:D
My plans for the day are very simple no FLC today as I've slept in and wont have enough time to clean the carpet before toddler group and this afternoon I'm off to meet friends at the local playcenter, god help me. The house is nice and tidy as I did my swish and sweep before going to bed last night.
Aims for the day included
1. Must post letter to insurance people.
2. Start putting togerther household manual.
3. Find baby bouncer chair and wash cover of to lend friend.
4. Dust and Mop master bedroom (doesnt need FLC only decorated in June).
5. Make a batch of food for DD for freezing.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Morning everybody
Well, today I'm VERY VERY EXCITED because I'm off in a couple of hours to visit Nelski :j :j :j
I'll be away until Saturday so might not get the chance to log on "as myself" for a while - but you might see me popping up on Nels's posts, or on TM's (we're both off to her place from late tomorrow)
I haven't packed yetbut this shouldn't be too big an issue - I am taking quite a large suitcase but will be taking it half empty as Nels and I are heading off for a day of discount clothes shopping tomorrow at Cheshire Oaks and I want to have space in my luggage
Anyway I'm glad I'm in a good mood this morning! I was in a right huff yesterday evening for no reason at all, had a right rant to my housemate (note, "to" him, not "at" him) about all the things that were peeing me off - being irritated by members of the public; the fact that I am OBSESSED with my savings and ridiculous house prices and that my mind is constantly wandering to these matters during interesting things like concerts; all the things that annoy me about my XBF (who was also in an irritable mood yesterday and when we were chatting by email he was misunderstanding some perfectly innocent stuff I said) and so on.
joannasmum - congrats on the undisturbed night!
PP - sure you'll be fine
Sorry I don't have time to stay on and chat this morning but will be running late if I'm not careful.
Sooooo I must be off.
Rzl xx

No that's for the weetabix cake.
I think Shez wants the brownie slice. There's weetabix in them as well.
This is it.- I thinkIn a bowl put
4 crushed weetabix
125g caster sugar
1 cup self raising flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
100g chocolate drops or chopped chocolate
Mix this altogether
Then take 125g of melted butter and stir this into the mixture along with an egg
Mix well and put in a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes at electric 180.
Once out the oven let it stand for about 5 minutes then turn out the tray and cut into squares.
PS. I got mine from my recipes. I changed the ingred metric.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
