Morning All
Hugs to everyone who needs them. Aril I know what you mean, I've just been reading Caron Keatings biography by her mum Gloria Hunniford. Its made me realise that life is for living, where going to save for a trip in afew years.
Anyway back to the present, DD only woke once at 10.30 and we left her to cry it out popping in every few minutes. It took 1/2 hour but then went back to sleep until 9.30 this morning :j . We are all much happier this morning with a full night sleep.
Plan for the day is do the House Blessing that I didnt get round to yesterday. Almost forgot, sister put in an offer on a house yesterday and after abit of neogotiation it was accepted so hopefully we will have our house to ourselves in about 8 weeks.:j

Well done Joannasmum! I know it can be really tough to stick it out - especially when you are exhausted, but it really pays off to be determined.

Hiya Kaz - thanks for the recommendation for the 'life in 7 days', seems like I need it at the moment!
I'll add it to my 'Amazon wishlist' so I don't forget it.
OK then, have put the McKenna book next to my bed to inspire me to read it next week. Thanks for chatting with me about it, helps me move in the right directionThe heaviest I was was size 22/24, got down to 12/14, but have creeped back up to 14/16 which doesn't help my confidence and I'm rather low on the at the mo!

Hi everyone:j
Back from my holiday in Prague. What an amazing city and we were really lucky with the weather too (so even managed to top the tan up a bit) Hotel was beautiful so its heads down and saving now to be able to go again at some point.
So after my mad two weeks of holidaying I need to get back to normal I supposeLots of washing to do so its all going on quick wash with fingers crossed!
Got to drive up to Glasgow tomorrow for w**k which is a route I hate due to the extraordinary number of speed cameras which do seem to insist on taking snaps of me :rotfl: Reality hits!
Hope you all have a lovely day

Morning all - (((hugs))) to those in need.
We're moving on either Tuesday or Wednesday :j  :j Had a phone call from the landlord last night saying that the tiles were down in the bathroom and the laminate was down in the kitchen and lounge, so all we're waiting for now is carpet in the bedrooms and hallway - the carpet fitter is due on either mondat or tuesday and we can move in as soon as we like after that!! Just some little quibbles about the electricity and water meters (see this thread) to sort and then off we go into the new flat with all memories of the old place (except for the landlord there who was fab and will be a regular visitor to the new place) erased forever :j
Not much OS to do today - 1 washload to do (OH went out drinking last night and all his clothes smell of pub and smoke now). Also need to start seriously thinking about Xmas and what I'm going to get or make for whom and how much I'm wanting to spend (or want it to look like I've spent :rotfl:) and organise my present box to see what I have in there as I tend to just chuck stuff in and forget all about it!!
Breakfast - woke up a bit late for this!
Lunch - Salad sandwich on a half-baked roll
Tea - Steak with steamed veg (new potatoes, asparagus and fresh peas)
Have a good day all,
Roz xxx0 -
Afternoon everyone,
Hugs to all that need them, especially Funkyfairy, it sounds like you need to go back to bed!
All bedroom corners are now decluttered and all stray clothes put away, washing out, living room tidied after the kids descended on it this morning, another wash about to go on and now I am torn. I wanted to have a chuck out of stuff in my bottom kitchen cupboards that I haven't used in yonks but when I started on the bedroom I discovered that DH's side of underneath the bed is a complete dumping ground so I need to sort that too, decisions decisions, maybe I can fit them both in?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Afternoon all,
Im new to the OS, but thought I would join you in the daily threads.
My house looks like its been ransacked by.....well I dont even know what!!! the planning with meals and shopping is working very well so would be a good idea for the cleaning routine but seen as it took me nearly all day  to do the food one im going to spend today pottering round cleaning/tidying what obviously needs doing, then make a more detailed plan of it all when the kids go to bed, the flylady thingy sounds good so I might have a read through that later.
For tea im doing a HM quiche, and going to try making some potato wedges instead of chips.Good enough club member number 140 -
Afternoon
Only woke up an hour ago:o:o - must have needed it! Even though I rarely make plans for Saturday daytime, it's kind of thrown me - was hoping to get lots of cooking and tidying done today, but as I'm going out this evening, I'm now a bit stretched for time! You'll see it doesn't stop me coming on MSE for twenty minutes though
Think the plan of action is as follows: Have a shower, get dressed, and get WM on (by 2:30). Go to Asda (aim to be back by 4:15). Washing on line (by 4:30). That leaves me until six-ish for cooking or tidying if not both, as I'll need to leave at 6 to catch the train.
FunkyFairy - sounds like you've caught the bug that DS had (((hugs)))
FRUGALPIE sorry you're having a hard time.
joannasmum congratulations on a successful night!
Aril ((hugs))
Hi to everybody else, but am not going to waste what's left of the day so must get going!
