I'm really getting spurred on by you all in this FLC - I have just bought a timer from ebay!
My hot water and bleach are soaking in the sink for an hour - 15 mins to go and then I start scrubbing.
I'm quite excited in a sick sort of way!:rotfl:

Morning Queenie, Vicky & All to follow.

Weather started bad here too Vicky but sun is now coming out & its meant to be nice - hope it stays like that as have a garden party at a neighbours to go to this evening.

Queenie - enjoy your 'me' day. I also am saving up for an MP3 player - I love the thought of having all my favourite songs in one place.

Well just going to be quick on here today, 1 wash in WM, DW not run last night so doesnt need emptying. Just me and DS up at mom, going to dust and polish downstairs whilst everyone else still asleep then will hit upstairs. Laundry basket will also be emptied today & I should get all the ironing done.

Enjoyed the circus last night it was half empty tho.

B - not up to this yet
    L - prob bacon sarnies
    D - eating a barbie at friends!

    Have a good day.

Good luck with the viewings VickyA. you can never have enough storage or too much time on mse :D . I find it hard to get enough time on here in term time as combining teaching with single aprenthood doesn't leave much free time in my life. I compromise by spending loads of time on here in the holidays ;)

I have to take dd shopping today. She is away next week and needs some new clothes. Later in the day, I am going to try and fit in some gradening. House in a bit of a mess just now as it my spare room is being decorated and everything is overspilling to the rest of the house.

Breakfast - punnet of strawberries - haven't thought about the rest of the day.

Good morning! Thought there would be at least two pages on here by now!

Well then, Queenie, have a wonderful 'me' day, and enjoy that MP3 player, if you saved for it, you earned it imo!

Vicky don't worry about what your OH says about you spending too much time on here, that's what OHs are for! Moaning! Just ask him how much time he spends on his playstation, or in front of the TV or whatever. And good luck with the OH's parents and your house viewing. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Today I'm being lazy. Did almost all the stuff I said I was going to do yesterday, just didn't get too far with clearing up this room.

I'm feeling very proud of myself. Yesterday I made my first Spanish Omelette with no help from OH! He wouldn't eat any of it, but it's a start. And such an OS/Store cupboard challenge meal it was too. Sausages, sprouts and sweetcorn from the freezer, half an onion, three eggs and a splash of milk.... Yumm. And there's enough left for my lunch.

Well, have a good day y'all, and hugs to anyone who might need or want one!

VickyA - good luck with your viewings and have a great time at the future in-laws :D

Frugalpie - ((hugs)) Hope you get your health problems sorted out pronto! Ah, finances are one of the biggest areas of marital discord; forgive yourself any mistakes and put it down to experience ((hugs))

rebl43 - Ooh err, we've encouraged you to spend money, that can't be right! :rotfl: (I use my microwave as my timer, or, if upstairs, the alarm clock)

Essex - Glad you enjoyed your circus :T Enjoy your garden party this evening, fingers X'd the weather is good.

Prudent - Looking forward to seeing more of you during the hols! Are you doing your own decorating? Enjoy your shopping trip. :)

poppycracker - :T :T :T Well done on your Spanish Omelette!! I saw they are selling (selling!!) spanish omelettes in sainsbury's chilled cabinet for lunches. The mind boggles! :rotfl: Enjoy your lunch :D

Funky - gosh you're having a week of it :( ((hugs)) Sounds like you could do with a rice bag for those tummy cramps (combined with a safe painkiller for you and it can bring some comfort). Hope you manage to get a snooze sometime today to take the edge off your tiredness; pain is always amplified when we're tired.

Morniing all.....((((((HUGS))))) to those who need them.

Queenie: Have a wonderful day to yourself, you deserve it!!!!!

Nothing planned, it was raining when I woke up, but the sun is trying to come out, have stripped the bed ready to put a load in the washer......... the laundry basket is still not full so might be able to leave the other washing till the middle of the week, do not have a full load of anything yet.

Noisy nrighbours next door.........she went into hospital yesterday morning so boyfriend informed us last night.... he muttered something about prolonged labour, did not like to tell him that first babies can take up to 36 hours!!!! So I guess the music might go down a decibel or two to be replaced by baby cries.

Liver and bacon caserole for supper, still eating the strawberries, should finish them tomorrow, will have some with my home-made greek yoghurt at lunchtime.......will have to put some more on tonight, need to keep a couple of tablespoons back from this lot to start the next lot off.

    Have a good day folks......................

Thanks prudent - I think I need to dig out my Paul McKenna book, comfort eating isn't the answer! I felt better about myself a couple of week ago when I lost weight, so not sure why I'm doing this. I guess I feel I am 'treating' myself, when I'm doing the opposite really :) I'll try your idea, thanks.

P.S. The kitchen smells of last night's pizza - urgh!
