    Hi obi
sorry you are having a cr*p time. Remember it IS only money. Other things are more important. Your health being one of them. So have you got any camomile tea. Found that worked a treat for me. Really knocked me out!

Best of luck finding another buyer.

Howdy Obi, sorry to hear you feeling so down.

Hope the tablets help. I too have problems sleeping and found the only thing that really works is to go for a long walk!

That FIL sounds like a gem, glad to know there is someone doing something concrete to help you

Don't give up - you will be by that poolside sooner than you know

Thanks guys. Feeling much better today, even though daughter threw up in the car twice. Pills must be kicking in!

Got a letter today from the woman wo wanted to buy the shop forst time round. Nearing in mind last time she offered me over £50k less than I was asking (even though she knew I was asking a set price etc). She's sttill interested, but I don;t want to get back into that load of messing again. However the sale would be nice to pay off all my debt, although FIL is going to invest the money, and I eckon I could make a sucess of the place now I haven't got The Devil's Own Catheter Tube (the ex hubby) dragging me down. Hmm. Weird - 2 weeks agao I would have jumped at the chance, but now I'm actually not that fussed. What to do, what to do....

I hope you guys are all happy smiley people, and that you're being really cheap. It's the time of year when we start thinking about buying new summer clothes, and holidays etc. I intend to ebay all my old stuff, and only use the money fro that to get my summer stuff. Bearing in mind I usually only shop in charity stores or ebay anyways, should make it nice and cheap.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

Glad you are feeling better obie, perhaps the shop sale set back was meant to be as it has given you more time to think about what you want to do.

Do you sell your wool on ebay?

Not at the mo, as we need all the stock in the shop!! But it has been an excellent way of getting rid of old stock, at the same time allowing us to add people onto our mailing list to direct them to our wool website (when it was running). I'm intending to redo the site and carry on selling wool even if I do sell the shop.

So now my cilemma is: should I a) sell the shop, pay off my debt then try to restart a business or b) keep the shop and the debts and try and make a go of it with my fil's help, theredore allowing an easier visa, plus a UK income when we move over. However this means leaving someone in charge whilst we live abroad. Hmm.

How's you, zippy? Look at your debt spiralling down!! Snaps for Zippy!!!

Oberon, do you actually trust your FIL as a business partner? You have portrayed him in the past as just a tad dodgy.

Yeah, but put it this way - have I got much of a choice? Plus he's agreed exact dates for investment, and has been made aware of the consequences should he let me down. Over the last few weeks he's really been trying to help us out, so I'd like to give him another chance.
