I agree, I'm having a lot of ladies in because they wouldn't spend £15 on their own baby, let alone a doll. I'm going to go 1 better - Baby Annabel MSE style. There's loads of sites offering free patterns - would put a link but not sure if I'm allowed. Basically type into a search engine free knitting patterns. 18" chest is a bit big, I'd recomend large prem or first size. I am reliably informed these fit. (14-16"). And voila. Well dressed dolly for free. Just don't forget to check of the pattern is american - they use different needle sizes to us, and they have different classifications for wool type - darned yanks always have to complicate matters.....
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

ah, its an 18'' dolly pattern,so I am hoping it will be okay. I tried looking for dolly clothes patterns online and i came up as a 0. But, I came up loads when I went to my nan's as she had tons of the bloomin things. I have got a few crochet patterns online though, and even though they are american they rock.

I was wondering too - come back Oberon! Hope it's a good sign and you've just been too busy what with the shop sale going through and the new life started, and the lottery win and the holiday to the Bahamas? LOL!

Right, well she has (or had?) a wool shop in Scunthorpe I think, didn't she? Surely there can't be that many! Shall we all go to Scunthorpe and drag her back kicking and screaming? :D
