[Little Britain impression imminent..........]
Computer says...yes.....
Sounds fan bl**dy tastic, but if the spreadsheet says so, then it must be right...... It will of course take longer, cos that's if I get all this money from bank charges, debts and the Beagle Scrotum Licker straight off, stick to my budgets closer than Blair's lips to Bush's bum and snowball like no tomorrow. It's more like 2-3 realistically. But it looks so good on paper...........This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

welcome back Obi! Well done on batch cooking; Iactually quite enjoy it now too - a dollop of this, a dollop of that, ignored ww recipe book in front of me!! So far this week have made bol sauce with raice, lemon/honey chicken & chicken one pot casserole...all freezing nicely at the moment. Taste SOOOOO much better than ready meals (used to live on them!) & at a fraction of the cost! As for junk tell me about it! Despite car boots & ebay madness still have masses & know I DID buy it!! Poor beagles is all I can say - seems unfair on them really as they're so cute! Cant he lick elsewhere!! Keep up the good work! Am very envious of your debt free date...mine are years away currently due to bl***dy loans!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Nope, The Wart on Janet Street-Porter's Backside has yet to find out.
Actually, we've had a bit of a set-bac. He broke the news to his dear mother, and do bear in mind she's been hinting at him moving in for ages, is now guilt tripping him into next week. He helps them out with the rent etc, and without that they now reckon they'll have to ask the next son for it, 'poor ben, he's got no money etc'. The boy bought a brand new touchscreen mobile the other day!. So they asked him to put it off a month, I told him we'll just play it by ear. He's pretty upset, but he is loyal to his mum (not a mummy's boy, just doesn't want to see her suffer financially). I did get a bit ratty and ask what excuse she'll come up with next month.......He's now trying to reassure me he does love me, wants to spend his life with me etc, bles he's getting all paranoid that I think he's having second thoughts. Still, gives me more time to get the World's Garage Sale Leftovers out the house.
Good day DFW wise, although (as this is proabably the first time you'll ever hear this) I went shopping at Aldi after work, rather than Netto and my gods it seemed expensive! The jar sauces weren't much cheaper than Tesco, and the shop wasn't half as nice as Netto. The milk was cheaper in Iceland, and the veg all looked a bit grotty. Oooh, hark at me! Budget Supermarket Snob! 5 years ago I'd never have thought I would be championing Nettos. Still, you live and learn.
Having a night off, my chickies, I'm going to play computer games and watch TV with some Ovaltine I think, rather than stay up late Ebaying stuff. I'm feeling pretty positive, as I thought the nursery cheque had bounced. In fact good ol' WTC peeps (ok, now you know aliens have abducted me - I'm praising the Government) put some money in my account (presumably back pay) that apparently I wasn't going to get, and that saved the day. So now there's still money left over, and I'm paid again on Wednesday. Maybe now I can actually stik to budget now I don;t have to play catchup. I did have to pay my VAT out of my Ebaying money, but hey ho. Just put in for another transfer, and intend to wipe off my smally debt to the solictors with that (147) so that's another one gone.
I hope all my lovely lovely friends here are having a good day - Dotty - where are you girl? Get yer head out those accounts and tell us how it's going! Don't forget people, 'Money comes easily to us' and we're all getting there. Every day is another day less to our DFD!!
Obi
Tip for today: Think positive. Try the mantra that's doing the rounds at the moment 'Money comes easily to me'. Also, try imagining yourself as the Debt Free You. You have money in the bank, you don't need to worry about paying your bills, and you're enjoying life. Maybe you're pootling round the shops not having to worry about not being able to afford anything. Imagine how that feels, and try and keep hold of that feeling. It really helps me stay focused, instantly lifts my mood and motivates me, cos I'd like that feeling for real. Try it, it really does work. You'll find your mind coming up with little ways to save money, or earn a bit extra. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Wow! Wonderful stuff!
Fortunately I am married to a wonderful woman (6 years so far) otherwise think I would have been on the next flight back to UK to see if I can pry you away from LB... A female nerd with a sense of humour! And an adorable daughter and attitude to life.
But, dude, what was up with marrying SkullBoy in the first place? Trust he is/ was impossibly good looking & sexy, and you were just shag happy a la Britney & Fed? Or were you actually in a sane state of mind?
Good tips on the business BTW. I'm a businessperson, and one thing you have to learn fast is cashflow, cashflow, cashflow, and which creditors you can, ahem, use as unwitting funders of your working capital. Managed to get one supplier up to a few million before they noticed... (normally am scrupulous on paying suppliers, but times were bad and as they didn't complain, figured they didn't need the money as badly as we did)0 -
