LOL at the sheets...talk about soft !!!!!! advertising!! Have to say I have spreadsheet envy!! I did try & just found in the end a daily diary & monthly ledger were much more simple!! Keep up the good work Obi....shame about the diff sofas!! I have to say I'll go with you & clean it!! They'll both be dirty again soon enough!! Enjoy the new bed!! (stop tittering at the back!) Make sure you tie DD down somehow to ensure you dont list her on ebay by mistake!! Take it bear never turned up but hope she is sleeping OK! Big hugs & keep up the good work (reading thread is exhausting & makes me feel quite lazy! Dont overdo it too much though!!)...

    Evening chickies,

Just an uber quick one whilst waiting for DD to go to sleep so I can scrub the bathroom (I've mentioned LB's parental units are coming over, didn't I? Panicpanicpanicpanic did I wash behind the cooker? She'll know....she'll knowwwwww............)

Average day at the shop, had to buy a new vac cos mines gone moudly (washed the bag and left it wet. Now I get a mushroom smell everytime I hoover) - but picked up a dyson for £40 from the market. Having trouble with some mad cow on ebay - I sent her item out, and she failed to collect from the post office. She's now demanding I pay the postage to send it out again otherwise she'll complain to ebay. I 've given her her money back, and I'm havng to relist item and and repackage. She's bang out of order, but doesn't see it that way. Nutter.

Got new duvet & pillows to go with my Mount Everest bed, and and feeling pretty chuffed. Fishy - did actually list DD by accident (she was playing in a box of ribbon reels, what can I say? I thought she was just an oversize reel of pink taffeta) but soon realised my mistake - I'd get more for her at a car boot sale.........

Hope y'all are having a wonderfully debt free day - please send me happy thoughts tonight, as I'll be panicking and gibbering like a nun in an Ann Summers store. Please oh please don't let her pull out a pair of white gloves..........

Tip of the day - check out supermarket sale sections on Sunday evening. Marked down bargains galore!
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hi there, I've just spent over an hour reading all through your thread. Agree with all other comments, my neighbours must think I'm mad with the hilarity coming from this place.

Good luck with the parents but I think you'll win them over no problem. A glass of wine, just the one, might help tough.

    Obi,

When I was a very new wife my OH's parents came to visit. I rushed round cleaning everything in sight.

MiL walked through the front door, into the kitchen and started cleaning the taps, major humiliation. However after 28 years I know that I am not good enough to wipe her son's feet:cool: .

By comparison with her daughter's husband though I featur quite highly.:rotfl:

"Oh I'm sorry, are you the new cleaner? I wasn't expecting you starting until monday. Didn't the cleaning company tell you that? You'll have to leave now though, I'm expecting guests and I don't want them to know I've got servants."
