Sigh, another day, another besotted fan. What must it be like to be so unconditionally loved by the masses.I feel like I'm trying to be friends with the most popular girl in school!
Tricky about the LB and the sort-of-M-I-L. My mum's always on at me not to get between a man and his mum and I must confess I know she's right. I think your best bet is to bide your time and just concentrate on being you, the funny, sexy, passionate, chilled out, domestic goddess he fell in love with. By giving him grief he might just back off but by being impossibly chilled about it (no matter if you are seething inside) he may well think "wow, this girls amazing, I must move in today".
Keep up the good work hun.
Mola x
P.S. Was there ever any happy news on Bear? Have I missed an update?Debt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96

Just logging on when I should be putting my curlers in - I have to leave for work in an hour. Did anyone say this site is addictive? :rotfl:
I wanted to add my good wishes on the OH question. Stick to your guns, girl. Your place, your space. Who stays? YOU decide. Where and when.
I think getting yourself straight before moving him in might be the best way forward - you've been there and done that. But don't let potential MIL pressure either of you! It's his life and he's got to make a stand, but I wouldn't rush into things either. Maybe set a date and do a countdown of actions to be taken in the meantime? E.g. packing? I suppose you could always shuffle him in so that she doesn't notice?
If in doubt, download Mardy Bum by the Arctic Monkeys and send it to him.

Hey ho all you lovely people, it's me (again)
What a day. I'm happy and sad. Chilled, yet at the same time want to stick pins in people's eyes. It's not even that time of the month!
Good - LB spent the morning with me, we had lunch and talked about the future. And zombies. But mostly futures. Okay, there were lot of zombies, and a bit of Bottom, but definately future orientated.
Bad - Paypal have decided that despite me having a tracking number, and despite me having already refunded the complete numpty who failed to collect my baby carrier, she wins! Why? Cos she wins! (A la Small Child in Big Daddy) Stupid paypal, but hey ho, it comes with the territory. The person who won it when I relisted pulled out, and the the person who was given second chance changed their mind as well. So relist again, and if it doesn't sell, carboot. Unless someone here needs a McLaren babycarrier? If so pm me, first one with their addy wins.
Good - Child was a little angel, and the sun is shining. Got no money, but paid all the bills.
Bad - just put my little wool shop on Ebay - decided it's time to move on. I want to sell it and start afresh in Grimsby, where there's no memories, all my friends live there and I'm starting from scratch - no 'previous owners' to be compared to. So, anyone with a spare £75k who wants a life being old lady bait let me know.
Sigh, the house is still 'House Full 'O' Junk' (tm) but it's all going, and I should be grateful. Plus we still have the adorable Dotty - slaps for worrying us - and the lovely Lawman is stil....um... being watched by the flying monkeys. They say to leave the hoover alone, it invalidates the warranty when the stairs attachment is used like that.
I hope you're all perky - I shall now spend the evening earmarked for sorting Stuff and moping to catching up and thinking happy thoughts. Like zombies.
Today's tip - If you're feeling like splurging on something, look at it in terms of your debt. That MP3 player could be 3 months payments on your credit card. That handbag next month's loan payment. Or in terms of bills. Those shoes ar the gas bill paid. Then see if you still want it.This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hey Obi,
Sorry to hear about the shop - but it sounds like you are moving on with your grand plan to pay off debts and move abroad.
Well done! I hope LB is well and helping you with the move.
Any update on bear?

I am no nerd. I'm just ....um...... not in tune with the rest of the planet, and think elves are really cool....... ok, yes I'm a nerd.
But, dude, what was up with marrying SkullBoy in the first place? Trust he is/ was impossibly good looking & sexy, and you were just shag happy a la Britney & Fed? Or were you actually in a sane state of mind?
I plead being stupid. It seemed a good thing to do at the time, baby coming etc. I am stupid, and you may all mock me for a bit.
Good tips on the business BTW. I'm a businessperson, and one thing you have to learn fast is cashflow, cashflow, cashflow, and which creditors you can, ahem, use as unwitting funders of your working capital. Managed to get one supplier up to a few million before they noticed... (normally am scrupulous on paying suppliers, but times were bad and as they didn't complain, figured they didn't need the money as badly as we did)
ooooooooohhhh, hark at thee and a couple of mill....:) I'm a good girl and try and get things paid quick. Not good business sense, but at least if a slump takes me I don;t owe any money, and I clean up all the 2.5% discounts for paying proforma.
So where are you, and what do you do?This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

There is no update on Bearsy, and as long as you don;t mention him, she seems pretty happy now. She has Mummy's Big Ted - 25 years young and still with both eyes. LB is fine and dany, and bl**dy gorgeous as usual, he's behind me 110%. We had a bit of a tiff the other night, he thought I thought he was a mummy's boy, and that upset him - not him being a mummy's boy, but that I think badly of him. He looked so gutted when I snapped 'Let's just forget the whole thing.' - Like a kicked puppy and I couldn't stay mad at him. So we made up. Then made up some more.
He's getting nosebleeds quite a bit at the moment - side affects of some meds he was on a while back. Nothing like mopping up someone's blood to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. Or is that homicidal maniacs? This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
