depends if it's vampiric, bandaged, creepy, hideous and wrong. If so, then be afraid - be very afraid.

Course, I still have the £2k worth of 80's toys to go at yet...........
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

all his Action Force toys - precursor to GI Joe. Now if Junior was his pride and joy, then these toys are his right & left nuts. He had mentioned selling them in the past, but now he has no choice, cos I'm going to do it for him.

And too right everything muct go, I don;t want anything of his left in the house, and the money will do very nicely. The house feels much better already - lighter, brighter and somehow happier.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Hey Oberon,
I know someone who may take all of that action force gear off your hands at once, let me know if you are interested.

mcbirnie - oooh yes, my task for tonight is to sit down and list the stuff, condition etc. There's a lot of MIB stuff, plus I want to get a few quotes from collectors & dealers, as (no offence) I don;t want to get shafted.

    Well ladies, gents and 'unknown'

Today was a good day in the shop, not too far below a normal week, even with a days lost takings. Was v. cheeky and wandered into my bank (Barclays) and got hold of the manager. 'What can we do for you today?' 'I'd like all my bank charges back please Deepak.' Cue much embarrassed looking around for help, and then a stuttered explanation of why Barclays won't do that (still unsure as to why, but think he was trying to tell me sod off without upsetting me). Oh well, that's the polite way exhausted, time to be printing off letters.

I was also v annoyed to find my bank loan payment has already shown up, even though it's not supposed to go til Monday. Something to do with their systems not recognising Saturdays. Good thing I didn;t need any money then!! Rent also due next week, so basically I can either pay loan or rent. Um, let me think..... Got a bit upset earlier, as I'm going to have to spend all the money I made on ebay on bills, and was really looking forward to clearing off one of my debts. I've already had to transfer 70 to the business to ensure a loan payment went. It seems no matter how hard I try I only manage to pay the basics, and have nothing left for overpayments on debts. I've made over £200 on ebay the last month, and none of it has gone on debt. I just hope the council get their act togehter, because unless I get the council tax and housing help I'm going to be very hard pushed for money.

Then I pulled myself together and thought, at least my bills are all paid, and this month I really will starting putting the weekly amounts aside for the monthly bills, as I'm supposed to. Basically somehting's got to give, and the business is going to have to start giving me the £100 a week I need, otherwise I'm just slowly sinking on both sides. Once my personal debt is sorted, it means the business can get away with giving me less until ITS debts are under control. That's how I got into debt in the first place - by not taking anything out. So now I'm feeling much more positive.

I hope everyone's having DFW week, I've been absolutely terrible, buying lunch nearly every day, and not walking to the bus ticket zone once this week. I am a bad bad lady. But next week is another week, and I have a yummy bit of salmon in the oven for tea. Diets going well, but I've never had a problem on South Beach, so that's another good thing.

    Oberon,
the person I know who buys that kind of stuff is a dealer.
List it up anyway and I will have a word with him and come back to you.
    Have a good evening ;-)

I'm a lurker rather than a poster on here but just need you to know that you are a huge inspiration. My relationship has just ended after more years than I care to remember and your feisty and fabulous approach is just so good to read. I love the way you are keeping it together and delighted at your new start.

You are doing a fabulous job with the debts. With the ebay stuff - at least this month you have managed all of your bills, they are not adding to your debt hill. I'm sorry you didn't manage an overpayment but at least the immediate stuff is managed.

Keep up the fabulous work and (no pressure!) I get the feeling that there are a lot of people waiting for your funny and honest updates, so keep it coming.
