Good for you having a day off..new man sounds nice & good that you know him and know what you're getting into!! Will def celebrate on your divorce day...I remember mine well..cocktails and very loud singing I seem to recall and a hangover that was as bad as the marriage, which seemed appropriate at the time!! "I will survive" of course an essential but "Young at heart" my divorce time because I felt SOOOOO liberated & bloody happy!! As for car seat, had to get it and dd safety an essential! Have a good eve!

s'funny ff cos my divorce day was really quiet and boring.... just like the marriage...... (oooghhhh miaow that wasn't very nice)

Ooohj, yes please Mcbirnie, I'll put the bedhopping slimy bit in big red felt tip pen, so they don't miss it. You going to the HOP to marvel at the arcitecture, soa up the history, or as a law student getting a feel for the people you'll be defending on speeding tickets and rentboy scandals in the future??!! :)

ooh, ali - not !!!!!y, telling the truth :) Minnie - don't do it. Best MoneySaving tip ever - don't get married, especially to morons who think you have a money tree in the back garden, or that it magically appears in the bank account thanks to the Dosh Pixies.

Fishy - my new blokie is fan bl**dy tastic and DD loves him to bits. It's given me something more to add to my list of reasons I'm going the DFW way and getting it all paid off - I don't want to live with anyone until I'm DF and I'd like to live with him eventually, plus we both want to move to Florida in the future.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Ha, going as a trade unionist to protest against Civil Service Jobcuts, the system is already failing people. They now don't want people giong in to a Jobcentre to look for a job, you have to book an appointment first, trouble is the appointments are 3 weeks later. Also protesting over equal pay and other issues. All boring stuff, hopefully I will get to see Tony or Gordon and put the world to rights with them.
Just as an afterthought, did they section the woman who hopped in to John Prescott's bed? That surely must have been a dare.....

Had to be, there's no way on gods clean earth any sane woman would even think about it, surely. Mind, if the only other option is Tony Blair, William Hague or The Vulcan, those jowls look pretty good.

So what's the point of Jobcentres, if you can't look for a job??!! Thought that was the whole idea, fixing people up with jobs with minimum amount of wait.

It's called reduction of local footfall. They wanna close over 200 jobcentres across the country, and get rid of 30000 staff. Part of their efficiency drive. I wouldn't mind, everyone has seen how the CSA and NHS are almost bursting, the Jobcentres are heading in to massive freefall with the amount of people losing their jobs, and staff taking extra work.
    Rant over ;-)
You back to a normal day tomorrow?

Am indeed, bet the old women will be queing round the block to do their usual trick; stand there and tell me 'I came yesterday but you were shut', gawp at me as if to say 'well, go on then, apologise'. I really have to bite my tongue becasue I'd love to say 'yeah, well, I do need a day off every now and again, I'm not here 24/7 on the offchance you want to get off your fat backside and hobble down here for 1 ball of 99p wool.'

But I don't. Except in my head. There I tell them all to get stuffed and then throttle them all with their surgical support stockings. I like my shop, just wish I got a better class of old woman - the ones that don't reek of mints and cats, and who don't mess me around for 45 minutes before toddling off with 20p worth of buttons (paid for with a £20 note, natch)

Fab, get it made in to a sign and put it in your window......

Try working in a Jobcentre, where you get spat at, people bring in knifes, bats everything, especially when you tell them you can't give them any money for losing their GIRO again. Happy days I tell ya. Wanna swap customers? ;-)
