Yeah, you have misread - That's what I draw Takings are about 500-600 atm, will be going up steadily to around £1k+ from August onward - the winter knitters start again then. I was advised to get VAT registered by previous owner (presumably so he could claim the VAT on the sale back!) and accountant didn't seem to think it mattered either way.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

    Evening all,

Just a quick one, as I must clean kitchen then myself before I have company tonight. Productive day, have managed to list quite a few of STB ex hubby's skulls on ebay, including the most hideous bandaged skull that scares DD witless. Not only am I sick of looking at them, I also need to money. I don't recall registering as a warehouse or storage facility, so out they go. Also listed several 'collectors' items he was squirrelling away. Basically he bought all sorts of Harry Potter & Star Wars rubbish when the films were just out hoping to make a profit. They've all gone on at 99p to shift them out DD's bedroom. He's going to go spare!

Seeing Turbo Lister pulling them up onto my account was strangely satisfying though......

Made some ginger biscuits, and planned next weeks meals. The freezer is nearly empty, so will have to start upping the budget a tad. We're usually well under the £15 anyways, so we'll see how we go.

Anyone got any ideas how I can shift some of this big stuff? There's baby changing station, massive corner unit desk, ironing board etc. Tried advertising at local spar shop, my shop window and in local paper but to no avail! Don;t want to put them on Ebay as there's only a slim chance someone will spot them in pick-up area, and selfish as it sounds I'd rather get some moeny back for them than just ask a charity to pick them up.

Right, off to get this place scrubbed and tidied, and ebay stuff shifted off the sofa (no-idea where it'll all go though). Hope you all had extrememly cheap days, and that Peter Kaye naked and green hasn't put you off your Sunday Roast.

Peter Kay, naked and green would finish my roast off nicely.....

I'm so sorry, did I say that out loud? :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Hiya Oberon,
give one of the 2nd hand office furniture/office suppliers a ring, they usually come round and will give ya a few bob for them. Also, the baby changing station, put a card up at local nurseries/creche, they let ya do this for free, single parents n all that. Also, with the ironing board, got any shops/laundrettes that offer ironing services? they may take this off you.
    Have a good evening,

    Evening my fellow debt-wranglers,

Well, chicks, today has been a bit of an odd one really. I'm absolutely shattered, but very pleased because I made an overpayment of £10 on my council debt. Doesn't sound much, and I stopped myself typing 'only £10' because I shouldn't think like that. I only have to overpay an extra £10 a week to bring my DFD forward by 3 months! Plus it's the first time I've overpaid anything. It's these little amunts that will chip away at my debt and before you know it I'll be wondering why I have so much money floating around!

I was very annoyed at the bank, after the phone call telling me I needed to get the money in the bank by today for my loan payment, I noticed they'd charged me £70 in charges on Wednesday. That plus the money I paid in today would more than cover it. How do they expect people to get straight when they keep taking charges? Still, they'll get a surprise when they get my letter asking for it all back. I forgot to transfer some over from another account, as didn't quite pay in enough to cover it, so they're going to try again tonight and it'll reject. Gods help them if they put another charge on my account. If they do, I'm opening an account with someone else.

I also checked my savings account and found a nice little amount sitting in there from all my ebaying and amazoning. Going to wait til the end of the month and if I don't need it to help out with my rent then it's getting sent to a debtor. It'll pay the rest of my sofa off, and if the last paypal transfer goes in before the end of the month, what's left should clear off the tail end of a council tax bill too. That'll be 3 debts sorted this month!!! I rock. But you all knew that :-)

DD was an angel, as usual. Tomorrow night/Wed morning is Summer Solstice and we're up mega early (2.30 am) to go up the hills with a group of friends to watch the sun rise, so I'm trying to get her to nap as much as possible, cos we have to go to work Wednesday and she'l be cranky. I think there's a law against giving babies strong coffee, otherwise I'll be pouring expresso down her throat! 'Mother jailed as toddler become the youngest Starbucks addict in the world'.

So chickies, I'm off as I have loads of paperwork to do, and a budget to mess about with a bit more. Must also try and get this darned website built to bring in extra money, and it's such slow going.

    Obi xx

PS there's a bidder and lots of watchers on all the Swamp Thing's skulls.........hope one of them's him.

Do see some fantastic ones down here though.

Starbucks would use DD in an ad campaign `come along and meet our newest addict`

And then I could use my macchiato-fuelled toddler as a money making tool. Or is that evil?
