I'm currently imagining what the look on their faces will be when I mention the little words: "Constructive dismissal" next time they moan...

lol, oh yes, that'll get their attention.....

Nope, Roo's made you all crazy. No green lights here. I'm currently typing up entries for my blogs so I can have them all post themselves over the week - that way I'm not having to be stuck to my keyboard evey day.

Anyone else got blogs/sites they would like mentioning on my blog? Reciprocal lins and all!
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

You think? Hmmmm bearing in mind last year someone left after sexist remarks were made by directors (the chap that left is gay - two seperate directors made inappropriate remarks...) and recieved a nice settlement... couldn't disclose the amount but he was happy bless him :)
I guess mention of another constructive dismissal with discrimination as the cause wouldn't go down too well higher up the chain if it comes to that.

I just don't get it - I just want to do my darned job and be left alone to do it! Grrrrrrrrrrr Yes I know it might put a few peoples noses out of joint with working from home so much but the nature of the job is that I can work from anywhere really... The more they hassle me though the less I get done because I stress so it becomes a vicious circle - gits!

yay @ Muddy - there you go. Rocking is what we all do best.

Today my chicks we are visiting the house again, so we can get measurements to confirm that the sofa won't fit unless we take the roof off. I am female, thus have absolutely no idea what a foot looks like (measurement wise - I know what my own feet looks like!) and so it's no good Mr O telling me the room is about 12 foot. I need someone to say 'the same size as this room/big enough to fit a bed, dressing table and a rugby team.'

The current house is being repainted - the hideous wallpaper that made my eyes bleed everytime I went upstairs has been removed. Oooh, that was sooo satisfying. Not quite as satisfying as tracking down either the previous tenant or the designer and beating them with a paint roller, but near enough.

There is still a horrible gap where there should be lots of boxes. I'm trying to stay away from the shops, as we overspent the last few weeks - you know how it is - you go in for milk and suddenly you need half the fresh produce aisle. But hubby has promised to come home Friday with boxes from work's delivery.

And on a lovely note, his grandparents have bought us a dining table, 6 chairs, sideboard & TV stand! They saw it in the paper, and went to see the table & chairs, the woman then threw in the sideboard & tv stand! So that was really nice, big bunch of flowers being bought today. We've given the cabinets I bought before getting with Mr O to a friend of mine, and now he has the matching TV stand once we move. Sounds corny, but I like to give back when I've had some luck - pass it on you might say. Imagine if we all did that? Reckon the world would be a bit nicer.

Todays tip is to make someone's day. Someone made my day this morning, with a lovely PM - thanks again to that lady! Maybe the harrassed checkout girl would like a smile and a 'how are you today?'. Thank someone for helping you out. Hold the door for a mum with a buggy (believe me, it really makes a difference!). Make OH their favourite dinner tonight. Doesn't have to be giving money, just a smile at the right time can make a day. Makes you feel pretty good too....

Tip taken on board....i'm going to go to the shops later and buy some flowers for my friend who's having a bad time of it and my children their favourite chocolate bar each. When I give them the chocolate i'll tell them they have to thank Obi! They'll know i've gone mad!! Have a good day and get packing them there boxes!! xx

lol@ mudbath, bless you. No, there will be no packing, as there are no boxes to pack in! Saying that, I did find the spare veg boxes I meant to return to the veg man, so will crack on packing some smallish things in them. Breakables, bath stuff and the kids.....
