I had the same thing on Saturday, my book sold for £3.20 and the next closest was £4.95 - I would never undercut by such a large amount and was quite cross with myself. However, by Sunday there were 7 additional copies ranging from £3 upwards, alot priced at £3.20 - which would tie up with my pricing at £3.20. This was the book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/detail/offer-listing/-/0749391154/used/ref=sdp_used/203-1150124-1400745 so it's not as if there would suddenly be an additional rush of listings.
There is a conspiracy theory on the Amazon Discussion board regarding the visibility of listings. It is possible that there are some listings temporarily unavailable of your pending book and 'the gap' between your price and the next price may be filled with these missing books.
Maybe it would be good if your sale did go through - who knows?

Men love gadgets - it's a fact! Once he gets his hands on it he'll be offering to do your listing for you.
You point the scanner at the barcode, press the button, it goes beep and up pops the relevant book at the page where you input the condition and description.

Very true, but he is also as tight as they come when it comes to me spending money... when it is him spending money, that's another matter!! Perhaps I have approached it all wrong with him... will try again in a couple of days when he has forgotten about the conversation we have just had, and make him think it is his idea - that's usually how I get my own way...:rotfl:

OH is on his way to collect them from Bristol as we speak! Am so excited to see if there are any treasures in there (though for £50 they will probably all be for RISI!)I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Bella - I had a pending Jesus which went through! Have faith my dear.
OK this buyer is upset now. My second attempt at buying the same dvd has resulted in yet another seller having problems with fulfilling the order. They give a link to cancel but that is not working. Very cross. What is so annoying is that the dvd is on EBAY on BIN and it is cheaper than both the dvds that I have attempted to buy on Amazon. My money is tied up now, so I can't really get it off there.
I am going to email the seller and ask for an immediate refund.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Got a bit of a query now, sold a book yesterday at around 11.45pm although the email didn't come through until after dinner today & have now had had this email come through "hi, this book is a birthday present is there any chance that it could be
here by Saturday the 1st at the latest??"
Because the email didn't come through til after dinner I didn't get chance to post it today & the email from the buyer has just come through (time on this email was 7.26pm) now so I will post tomorrow but I can't guarantee it will be there by Saturday. If they had emailed me earlier I could have tried to post out today. I'm more annoyed than anything now, surely if they wanted it quick they could have emailed before now.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

Hi Yvonne
How about emailing them back thanking them for their purchase and saying you will be sending it first class tomorrow morning, however, you are unable to guarantee delivery by Saturday although Royal Mail do say that more than 90% of their first class deliveries arrive the next day?

If you search on Amazon by title and author you may find the book in question - Reader's Digest will be listed as the publisher. They don't all have ISBN's but Amazon sometimes allocate a number of their own, see this book as an example (it's not a true ISBN that is shown).

Hi,
I only went for a cup of tea, and Amazon have revamped the for sale pages.
It looks like an XP version.
