  • Hi Guys
I have just had email from payments saying that my money owed has been initiated and will appear in my bank account within 6-10 days. Can anyone tell me how accurate this is??

It arrives in my account in 6 days usually
  • I usually get it exactly 1 week after, I get my payment email on a Monday & it's always shown in my account the Monday after - hope that helps.

Can I just check that when people send books abroad they are using 'Printed Papers' rate and not 'Small Packet'? I take it that printed papers is cheaper??

Not always, I just had a quick scan down the price list and it's a bit hit and miss, sometimes small packet rate is cheaper
  • Re pricing and not starting off undercutting wars - what do you do when the other copies are really overpriced? eg some books Amazon has had them new in stock and been cheaper than the marketplace sellers, others I've checked Bookfinder and they're priced way over the odds. It's only happened a few times so I've been listing at a price I think is fair - what does everyone else do?

I got my first seller feedback :j 5 out of 5

I have been pricing my books to match the second lowest or middle of the range - if you know what I mean.

Mine are never the cheapest but never the most expensive.

The 2 that I have sold have never been at the cheaper end of the scale - more towards the middle of te pricing - but they have been like new.

Does that make sense VSM ???

If not I apologise - I appear to be ill with the flu in June

    T xx
  • Having had an even closer look there are more price bands that are cheaper on small packet rate than printed paper rate so small packet is they way forward, I'm going to edit the manual
  • For the person asking about envelopes etc. I don't use envelopes or jiffy bags, I just bubble wrap and wrap in brown paper. Very secure, books won't get damaged and much cheaper in the long run. Hope this helps.

When you take the item to be posted ask them which is cheaper, Printed Papers or Small Packets, it's usually only a few days difference for it to be sent Small Packets if this is the cheaper option.
