Hmm, am looking at the Greenmetropolis wish list and it's a bit odd - people looking for Northanger Abbey, which is 1p at Amazon... Am I missing something or why don't they just buy it from Amazon?

I put some books on Green Metropolis which were on the wish list and only one of them has sold (weeks later and my only Green Met sale)

Strange though it may seem, a lot of people still don't know that you can buy secondhand from Amazon. Every one seems to have heard of Ebay, but I'm often met with a slightly quizzical look if I mention I sell things on Amazon - it's easier to just say Ebay :D

That's one difference between GM and Amazon. On GM it is just a wish list and you have to go back to buy the listed book. On Amazon you've already agreed to buy the book and the sale goes through automatically.

So, more chance for the 'buyers' to change their minds. At least you're not presented with a buyer who placed the 'preorder' months ago and has forgotten about it and now wants to return your book and have a refund.

  • Another sale today, slowly getting through everything now. That's 9 in 10 days, not too bad really. Total of £27.76 when fees have come off!

Do sellers list the same books on Amazon and Greenmetropolis at the same time? It seems easy enough to delete them from either, if you remember.
    Any advice appreciated?

I've just started to list a few on GM, they are also on Amazon, but I can see the potential for duplicate sales if I forget to delete a book that has already sold.

I shall have to see how it goes.

Thanks Funkyfunkymonkey for the above advice, I have emailed by buyer with a pending payment so will await a reply now. BTW mine was for a cassette which I had mine @ £4.50 but the only other seller had theres at £7.50.
I've got 3 pending at the moment how can I contact buyers with just the order numbers?? £ add up to over £25 so I'm keen to sort them out.
    Please can anyone help??
