Thanks for that. I have PM'd her and hopefully she will be able to give me some good advice.
Just about to shut down PC and got a SDN e-mail. That's one sale a day for this month so far.
    Thanks again

You make about 80p if they sell for 1p. I also sold one which went to Holland and I made a similar amount.
Its alot more than you would get for them at a car boot fair.

Thanks Chell. A local charity shop has some at 2 for 50p, I was trying to work out if it would be worth getting a few. Not likely to make my fortune, but could be worth it just to keep stock numbers up. I'll try listing some and see how they go.

Thanks to whoever pointed out the 'Amazon.co.uk Hot 100 Books'. Its worth viewing. I read the lsit of Saturday after going through a book of books which I had just been given. A Paul McKenna book was listed, mine sold within 24 hours of being listed.

I have had a few books on Green Metropolis for months but only sold two. I listed these books on Amazon and many sold within a week.

Does anyone know if this is anywhere on the site as text only (ie without the book pictures and descriptions?). I'm on dial-up and it takes me ages to look through. Definately going to try and list books that are on the top 100 though - I recognise a few that I have.

I haven't sold anything on Green Metropolis - it looked great when I listed books on there, and I was using it for 1p Amazon books, but it doesn't seem like any of mine are going to sell there.

Another sale come through, only £2.96 but it all adds up, that's 5 in 2 days & 6 this month (not including my pending payment which is still pending!)

With regards the pending payment, would you wait 72 working hours (it came through at 4pm last Friday)? When would you relist?

WOOHHOOO! Just took my first charity shop visit this morning, took a plunge on a few 50p (and 10p) books, sold one already for £14!

That has more than covered my costs, even if I go back several times! This is fun! of course, I will have to sort out how I'm going to post things once the World cup starts, I usually go to the PO after work at about 5!!!!

  • what an image!

I know that victory dance, but mine is more of a jump and turn in the air rather than a dance

I'm also happy that someone almost as tall as me is famous in this country! Now where's that bandwaggon?
