Got paid today, ultimate temptation! Me and OG had a KFC and 2 of those cadbury creme egg chocolate bars. But surely I can have one last treat before I disappear for 3 months!!

Sigh. £2.80 on library fines. £30 in a cafe over the weekend for 2 toasted sarnies, 2 coffees and 2 ice creams. Big sigh. I think I'd like to have a treat out but when we do, I just feel grumpy at the 'waste' of money and fact that I can cook most stuff better at home. Poor DH can't win, takes me out with the kids then after the treat I have a long face. Hate being on the wagon (no hols now for 3 years) but hate it even more off it. Am becoming MSE bore/sad cow.

Know what you mean about the cooking. I had a starter & main paid for by my family over the weekend. Starter, mixed mushroom and garlic creamed tartlette at wait for it 15.99 JUST FOR A STARTER. I sat there poking it around my plate, thinking " bit heavy on the cornflour"

Just glad I didnt pay for it lol

OMG where do I start - have been really really bad over the last few weeks and cant seem to get myself back on track.
    1. My favourite shop is closing down so everything is 50% off - so I just had to wack £95.00 on my credit card ( and dont even ask me to take them back )
    2. Had a !!!!!! even though I have meals planned for the next week
    3. Have been going to the cash point and drawing out the odd tenner and twenty here and there - for what ??? I havent got a clue, must start spending diary.
    4. Been smoking  but have managed a couple of days without again so I havent given up giving up just yet
    5. Dishwasher has broken so will have to be replaced
    6. Didnt get my bonus that was due last month so have to wait till next month to pay off my bank loan ( I think this was what sent me off the rails really )
    7. Had a couple of bottles of wine and loads of Tesco BOGOF magnum ice creams - not budgeted for !
    8. Stopped coming on here as much and stopped doing weekly goals - think I have really lost my way

the result I am now worried that I will go into my overdraft and I was doing so good too. Have decided not to beat myself up about it though - that wont get me anywhere and I need to concentrate of packing in the dreaded weed yet again :o and at least a have 2 gorgeous tops and a pair of diesal jeans to die for :rotfl:

Hi Lyn, great thread can i join as i have a confession to make! My downfall is holidays and i have one for the end of june that was booked BEFORE my light bulb moment.Anyway, on top of this, i decided last month to take advantage of the alton towers 2 for 1 night offer, for youngest sons 7th birthday. We went last week tuesday till the thursday 202.00 for splash landings and water park tickets and 50.00 each night for food-which the kids did'nt even eat.The whole trip was not really worth the expense, made me fall off the wagon big time and DS who turned 7 did'nt really like it,but still kissed and hugged me and thanked me for taking him.I wish i'd just done an old style party (tizer as well, lol). He would have been so much happier and i would have stayed on the wagon.
Thing is i feel so bad at how bad it all turned out for him i was thinking of doing something else within a very decent budget as i'm totally broke now, lol.

I wondered what the sink was for :rotfl:

ok ok I didnt go out and put a new one on HP or plastic and am washing up untill I can afford to buy one outright - which may take a while due to my overspending this month.

    I climbing back aboard :p
