For £50 I got OH 2 shirts ( which he loved, and in justification, lots of his clothes aree rags) a pair of trousers for work, a halter neck top. And A skirt.
However, its got cheaper so last week I bought 6 tops for £20  one of which is another shirt for OH ( well it was a fiver each, or 6 for 20, so 2 were technically free) and a pair of trousers for work for a tenner.
Most still have the tags on
Although one is on ebay as it didnt fit and no returns... she says, clambering. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thats not too bad - I shudder to think what I used to be like with clothes shopping - going into next, french connection etc and buying new outfits without even thinking about how much they cost (sometimes without even looking at how much they cost) - Im SOOOOO much meaner now!
I had a little splurge last week - I brought some tops for work and some trousers in Dorothy Perkins - it felt so weird shopping!! (they did have 20% off all day tho so that made me feel better!) so I got a pair of trousers, 5 tops and some accessories for £47 (out of £50 which my mum gave me!)0 -

Ok, i've sinned too, or i'm about to! We need to get out drive sorted out before we get the building certificate for the extension we had two years ago. One of the regulations was turn the front into a hardstanding drive. Now, hubby had been meaning to do it for the last two years to save money but he hasn't and if he does it will take him forever coz he works etc. I've got someone to come and give us a quote for the work. This can go one of two ways. Firstly, we pay to get it done but we haven't got the money. Secondly, the quote shocks hubby into doing it himself. Not quite sinned yet but very tempted especially as i work from home and the state of the place does matter!January budget

Spent stupid amounts of money on a sandwich at Subway (about 4.70 for one roll!) and bought lots of terrible 'food' that I didnt need like milkshakes and biscuits. In defence of subway though - OH just come out of hospital after an op and thats what he really really wanted to eat. The silly grocery shopping of about £15 is my fault though.:o0

Hope your OH is on the mend soon. I guess you can put that overspend down to stress, at least it wasn't more!January budget
