    I haven't been on much lately, too much work and vegs to attend to. We're drinking the wine most nights which is our major expense! Have brought down the food shop to peanuts but spend about £25 onwine! Still it's currently our only treat.....excuses, excuses.

    Well I earnt about £300 overtime this month so went a bit reckless and am gonna be £120 overdrawn by payday! That means once I've been taxed I will only have about £100 extra to throw at the debts! :doh:

    June is gonna be the month I properly sort myself out! :D

    25 a week!! :eek: thats 1,300 a year !!! So glad I cant *really* drink at the moment due to illness, the price of it would make me sick in any case!!!!
    :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
    Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
    So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:
  • Oh can I come on board again?

    Earned an extra £170 this month :A But then decided to treat myself to a cut and colour at the hairdressers spending a whopping £54 :eek: instead of throwing it at my debts. I did get 20% off though!

    Why is it that if I do good for a few weeks I then think a treat is in order :confused: Anyone else feel like that?

    I feel like that after doing well for a couple of hours! :D:p
  • Thank goodness it's not just me! I've well and truly fallen off the waggon! Last weekend I spent £80 on food/wine etc which we didn't really need but I thought 'looked nice', and then bought OH a new game for his PSP (which he has thankfully insisted I return as he knows I couldn't afford it).

    I'm clambering back on hoping that June will bring me a stronger sense of willpower!!!
    Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
  • Ooooh I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

    I'm so ashamed. In the past week since I've been paid I've spent over £100 on just cr*p. Only just now I arrived back from Boots having spent £6 on food and sh*t - a meal deal and some extra sweets and crisps (I know, I'm a pig).

    That £100 has mostly gone on junk food, books, some clothes (some of which I'm taking back tomorrow) and has just been a waste.

    Its the 1st of the month tomorrow, new start and all that - anyone with me? Back with a vengence comes the spending diary!

    After writing all this down, I am most DEFINITELY back on the wagon! (*she says stuffing her face with illicit crisps!)

    scottishspendaholic x
    MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
    Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
    Bank of Scotland = £2,782.83
