Want to make it fun?
Sit down with your daughter and a load of old magazines. Play a game of ideal home and make a big collage of all the things you want out of a new home - for example, nice warm bedroom, park nearby, close to school/work, nice neighbours. And involve her every step of the way. She'll feel like a proper grown-up and it'll give you a lift too!
Yeah I will, but this house is pretty amazing, my front garden is a canal, the cycle path is the canal path, its pretty amasing, BUT hey sometimes you just gotta well come to your sences, I think I will have to come on here everyday to tell you what I have done that day, so I dont slack, get you lot to kick me up the !!!!!!!!!!
Must admit ex took our double bed so im sleeping on a single matress on the floor, there is a local place that does second hand stuff for people on benifits BUT at the back of my mind I keep thinking I dont want to get a double bed cus its more to move, plus Ive got a huge fish tank for sale, again, just in case I have to move, so i spose it was underneath, just well, but hey ive had a few bacardies!!!!
Just hope ive got my senses tomorrow, but i think talking with you lot is helping me see reason :beer:0 -

I think you are making the right choice. Have you spoken with your local housing associations too? Most near me take nominations from housing dept lists anyway, but some might not. Worth an ask. Housing association property is your very best bet IMHO, so do try.
