Not sure about this but not worth while for the following reason:

Local tesco is 96p and you get the clubcard points, which when multiplied by 4 for the deals means that I am still better off at Tesco. Add to this the 3% cash back with a GE credit card, waste of £10, but a nice idea!

To take it further , the club card deals now do car sevicing with AA Autocentres, so not even worth the discount even if they give you cut pice car servicing!

Here on the Isle of Man , Diesel is £1.01 per Lt so 94p is a very good saving .

50 LT tank = £3.50 saved each fill up (if it stays the same ) plus the other car for only a 75p increase ,Saved per year around £48 so we are well quids in for this ..

we dont have supermarket stations here either , our fuel is some of the most expensive in the country .
  • Just signed up. Living in Northern Ireland where Diesel is 99.99 and doing about 700 to 800 miles a week this really caught my attention. With a texaco garage on my doorstep I think I could really come to love this little card.

I run a diesel car and currently can get fuel locally for 94.9p. No use to me at all.

My local Sainsburys is cheaper than the prices they are quoting at 91.9 for unleaded so I think I will pass on it for now.

No option for BP Ultimate or Shell Optimax or do they come under the "unleaded" petrol option?

For me the saving appears to be 4p per litre and my car only does 18mpg (lots of short journeys).
So cycle instead ;) The savings (and not merely in money) are so much greater than could possibly be achieved with a petrol-based scheme.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
