I don't know what other benefits there are as I'm only starting in Sept so couldn't access the whole site, might be useful to someone0 -

Vision Express offer a student discount of 30% - you can't use it with other discounts so it's worth working out what gets you the best price. You might need to prompt them to apply it, the discount is in their drop down list but it can be tricky to spot.0
