    JULY WINS- LABEL M PRODUCTS

  • I found a new concept offering students much larger discounts at Myunihub (its the.co.uk one not the Middlesex uni one) registration is free and you can suggest products you would like to see on the site They are just starting out but it looks a winner and covers all of the UK unis and colleges. I saw them at the freshers fair.

I've just taken a look at newstudentdiscounts and it doesn't seem to be student specific - they are just a list of sites that happened to have sales on or discounts open to anyone. Useful in some respects but by its title you'd expect the discounts to be just for students. Not impressed.

  • Hi

I am a student, but don't have a NUS card. I heard that coast do online discount, but it's only accessible through a code from the NUS website, would anyone be able to let me know the code that you use?

Sorry to be a pain, but i've found a dress I like and can't afford it!

    Thanks

Yo!Sushi are offering 25% off for every student!

Simply go to https://www.yosushi.com/student and register. They'll e-mail you a code and then you put it in your phone as a contact or as a note, and when you go into Yo! you give them the code when you go up to pay, and 25% off. It's saved me serious money over the past year!

It means you get some dishes for as little as 1.30, and my favourite, Chicken Katsu Curry is less than 3 quid. A great alternative to a Greggs or a Subway.

You can get 10% off a one year 16-25 railcard online using the code 'WEB10'. Reduces the cost from £28 to £25.20. Ends 31st December 2011:

Don't think it's been posted here before.

It doesn't work like this anymore - the shops wised up to it.

Now, you log into the NUS website and get the code, and it attaches this to your account. Amazon started it, to ensure only the student with the card used the code, but most places do it now. If you try to use the code generated again, it doesn't accept it.

Do you know anyone with an NUS-discounted Coast account? If you order through that it should automatically remove the discount.
  • How about having a great student discount hunt with the new term coming up - hopefully I will qualify for them then as I am looking to do a hunt and it would be useful to have all the discounts in one place

Note from martin: I love this idea and have therefore adopted it and made it an 'official' great hunt. It will be in this week's Martin's Money Tip. Hope you don't mind.
