    Morning all

Quite dull and cold here, washing hanging round indoors again.

DD2's friend died on Friday. He was only 24, went to the doctor and never came home again, blood clot on the lung. Can't believe it.

damn didn't I say about number 3 just last night.. :(

I am so very saddened by your daughters loss.. what a sad and tragic loss of life. I lost my uncle and grandad in very similar circumstances.. big big hugs to you daughter and all his friends and family will be in our thoughts and prayers.. :(

Pigpen, do your kiddles like Kiwi fruits as I've got loads so may drop them round later?

They do indeed.. especially DD1 and DD2 (almost typed names there.. :s) I do too but they make me rather ill :(

You are most welcome to come visit.. I will make you look at DD2's room though!!

The children are not back until about 7 so we have peace until then :D

I think I set my RSI off yesterday as my wrist is killing me.. again..

I have the landing to sort today and we are hoping to get DD2's mirrors up for her getting home tonight and with luck get the landing ceiling painted.. though that may be wishful thinking.. it needs some sanding doing too which won't be fun..bits in eyes and everything.

I have school washing to catch up on as well.. and the bathroom and loo are vile and need a jolly good scrubbing..

Best get out of bed then.. :p

  • Haven't been around much this week and haven't caught up with the thread -still feeling tired after night shifts all week -can't shake them off as well in the winter

Condolences to the families that need them ((((hugs))))

Am just listening to the new Robbie Williams album - very good - nice mellow feel - despite the postal difficulties, it came early from Play so I've had it earlier than advertised :D

Company have said that we should hear about our job situation on Tuesday (unless they move the goalposts again or the union delay things).

Hope to be around more this coming week - on lates so will be flying in mornings.
Just waiting for washer to finish then off for a walk while the sun's still out.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend folks xx
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

I'm so sorry to hear of all the losses. Big hugs to you and your families.

Ds2 has been out in a rash since yesterday, started with spots on face then started to go away. Then this morning his cheeks where bright red, i think it might be slap cheek but not sure.

Dinner done and HTT been out and away, Ryhs fast asleep but i think the plan is once he's up we'll all go for a walk.

Then when we get back, i'll get the list done. Well i'll get everyone to help.:p

Oh 12 things now going on ebay....:j:j need to list more tonight.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Found 7 frozen bananas in there  the banana loaf only uses 2 at a time

Just need to find a use for the frozen berries now all 2 1/2 bags of them

Sexymouse gave me two recipes which use 3 bananas each - I can post them if you are interested.

Smoothie/milk shake? My kids like berries and bananas with milk and a scoop of ice cream. Fruit crumble/pie/sorbet? Looks like you'll keep busy in the kitchen. ;)

Oooh its a bit nippy here today. Ive changed the bed today and hooverd right through. Dailies done and also had to wash the carpet as the cat was sick. Then got ready and went to the Remembrance Parade. Had my lunch out and just about to have a cuppa. Im going to look at my xmas lists later. Ive sorted all the little cables for things such as phone, camera, wii etc by putting them in small freezer bags and writing on what they are for. Now I dont have to wrestle with them all.

I discovered I had an admirer and have let them down gently. I like them as a person but not in any other way. They thanked me for being honest.

mumoffour77 Please accept my condolences. Hugs for you and your family.
Pollybear Hugs and prayers for you all and the family of the young man.
Valli I was going to put off getting my bathroom done and dreaded the mess. Pleased its finished and glad I didnt put it off. At the time I just thought I will do it and get it over with so Im sorted for xmas.
Triker Sounds like you have a sensible DD1 there. Big hugs for her. Not a good friend doing what she did and wanting DD to have a party.
