Have finished off the pickled onions and they are now maturing for the next 6 weeks or so.

Just waiting for the egg whites to defrost I found in the freezer (2 left in there for next time) and the braised red cabbage will have with sausage casserole thing making later.

Found 7 frozen bananas in there  the banana loaf only uses 2 at a time  plus decided to not make this today as I'm making maccaroons instead.

Storecupboard challenge is going well including the freezer clearout operation.

Should be ok for this week eating from there, 3rd week now and lots of pies in there to get through.

Just need to find a use for the frozen berries now all 2 1/2 bags of them

Second coat of paint on, fire cleaned out, another load of washing on. Yard decluttered by DH, who is currently doing a HHC in our bedroom.

DD2 is dancing on the newspaper, singing "twinkle twinkle" in her nappy.

eta fedup I have been aching to ask what does " #4 dog " mean on your to-do list?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I know it doesn't directly affect me but it's someone who has been around our family for many years and he was just so young.

Just finished listening to the Remembrance Day parade on the radio which has only made me sadder. The weather seems to be reflecting the mood of the day, dull and cold.

Condolences to both Mumof477 and Pollybear, so very sorry for your losses. Such sad, sad news. :(

Well I'm still in bed, went to sleep about 5am saturday morning, then woke up at 10am then managed to stay awake until about 1am this morning and awake at 9am so hopefully jetlag is nailed.

DD1 having a hard time of it at the mo, needing some heartfelt chats as she has fallen out with her best friend and feels quite lonely. They fell out because whilst we were away her so called friend helped herself to our alcohol, then broke one of our pictures by messing about with it and had a tantrum at my DD because she wouldn't have a party at our house. DD1 said she couldn't believe how her friend was acting and asked her to leave so now there's the usual facebook campaign of slagging off going on.
I've told her she's better off without people like that in her life.

Need to get some washing done, some had gone mouldy out on the line, anyone any idea how to get mould spots off clothes or are they done for, I've put them through a super hot wash but they haven't completely gone.

Also got a load of veg so need to batch cook some soups today.

Pigpen, do your kiddles like Kiwi fruits as I've got loads so may drop them round later?

Greenbee, glad you got there and are in the zone so to speak, enjoy it aand the weather, I think its hot in Florida at the mo.:D

Rightio, best get going, see you all later. x
