Go out rach - if DH is doing a practice exam he'll be sensitive to you being around, and you'll probably breathe too loudly ;) And it'll be good to see a few people at church, particularly today.

I've got a couple of hours before I have to check out, so I'm going to get a bit of work out of the way. I should be re-packing, but as usual, that's coming out fairly low down my list of priorities :o

Haha, he's just come in and I said 'I'm going to go out, I don't want to sit around all morning and I'll be paranoid I'm being too noisy' - Great minds think alike!! I'd better get a move on, had a bath last night and my hair is passable so I'll just get dressed and have some breakfast...need to be out in 15!

have prepped a casserole and it's in the oven, ready to put on so that, when we return from football, it will be ready. Potatoes will need cooking/mashing but I'll do that while DS has a bath.

TODAY I AM GOING TO E-MAIL THE PLUMBER RE THE BATHROOM FITTING.

I have been putting this off since the summer; I cannot face the upheaval BUT I am sick of not being able to shower. So I am going to do it.

Happy, if pensive, Remembrance Sunday. Where would we be without our armed forces?

Quite dull and cold here, washing hanging round indoors again.

DD2's friend died on Friday. He was only 24, went to the doctor and never came home again, blood clot on the lung. Can't believe it.

Good girl! Hopefully it'll save you some money in the long run - you should use a lot less hot (i.e. energy) water (obviously this depends on whether you are metered!). To avoid further procrastination when the quote arrives, I suggest you sit down and work out what it currently costs you to bath, and what it will cost you to shower (showers should use approx 7 litres of water a minute or less - if it uses more you can get a free flow regulator... I'll try to remember where from!), and then you'll be able to work out the payback period when the quote arrives.

Can you tell I'm procrastinating? :p It's just gone 5am, so I need to finish reading the paper I'm working through (I'm seriously behind on reading my colleagues' work, but it's making more sense now than it would have done earlier) and then pack/shower/checkout and get myself to the airport for checkin and breakfast!
