She was 93, she has seen more things in her lifetime than i probably ever will, and right up until the end her memory was amazing:) I loved my wednesday night with her as she told me so many stories!! I will miss her loads, but I know she is in a much better place now.........
Im sorry to jump in like this but I needed to get that off my mind!
RIP Granny xxxxx.
Must love to you and the whole family. 93 is a fabulous ageI bet those Wednesday night chats were the best thing in the world, I really miss those 'I remember' chats with my gran. I am glad she has found peace and as long as you remember her she is never far from you.

I hope not too.. I've had more than my share this year!
Oh.. todays update.. we skipped to ikea.. there were about 10 people in!!.. thought you lot said it was busy on a weekend!?
Anyway, we got the desk we wanted for DD2.. her little room is now rather full but there is loads of storage space and no excuse for ANYTHING other than her carpet to beon the floor. I am keeping the lamp and rug for her for christmas so she is now finished too.. I am in 2 minds whether to get DS2 the warcraft annual subscription.. it is about £9 a month which amounts to about the same as everyone elses main present plus I know he'd like it. Then the whole lot are done. I got a decent shredder fo rmyself too!
I also received duvet sets for the 2 boys which I am putting away for christmas.. they desperately need a new carpet and a repaint so after christmas I'll invest in a tub of paint and whizz over their room and sort a new carpet.. the covers are black and grey and white and the curtains black.. teenage boys are gross lol.. so.. the walls will either remain yellow as they are now or I may do them a pale grey.. the woodwork is silver though so I'll have to think.. actually.. I think I have a 5L tub of grey...
Tomorrow is to be spent clearing the landing of boxes then hopefully the ceilings can be painted Monday and I can start the walls Tuesday.. and delay the carpets until Friday so I can get the wallpapering done and the woodwork.. looks like another jam packed week... Monday is parents evening, Wednesday is DS2's IEP review, Thursday DS3 is in hospital for his eye op... that means I'll miss 2.5 days of uni again.. Friday I'm not in anyway and Tuesday I have 2 hours in the morning.. you see why I can't fit it inat the moment?!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all
I've not had chance to read the thread since thursday as we've oh's parents staying, but I see hugs and sympathies are needed for mumof4 and carole.
I'm having to post from my mobile so can't update my lists as they're on the computer but didn't want to be taken of the list for going AWOL!
Hope you all have a good Sunday, I'll try to pop on tomorrow on the new thread but it might be Monday before I can get back on here again0 -

mumoffour ((hug)) for all of you x x I miss my Grandma & Great Grandma lots too but pigpen is right, I still talk to mine x
phizzi of course you can **bang on glass to make you jump** you're making a right mess of those windows
3tabbycats hope the visit is going ok
sexymouse pleased you have managed a nice day
toots I promise I won't forget them I can't, I need the stuff in thembut DS2s fed up of climbing over the Xmas bag to get into bed (we don't have a loft) as there is no point putting it behind his bed (which is heavy to move) to get it out in a month. I just can't put anything else away as it is all in the way of where everything needs to go. Might get DP to help more as he wants the garage once we are sorted.
thrifty yes I've about had my fill now, boys were all excited when more went off this evening (after the first bang DSs like them) but the 25kg climbing on my knee crying wasn't good. We have them going off again now, guessing that is younger people without children....grrrr....
So much sadness at the minute, I've sat crying through the remembrance service as usual, the ladies who represent those who have lost husbands in service get younger evey year, just so wrongthey are running out of space on the memorial for those who have fallen in Helmand which is so upsetting on it's own.
Right, now it's finished and I have a bright red face from tears**gives head a shake** I must get that bedroom floor cleared so DP can build the last wardrobe tomorrow
as his club is not on this week.
One day I might be more organised...........

Not long back from the bonfire party, a great time was had by all
W really enjoyed throwing more wood on the fire with some of the other kids (all strictly supervised
) Have just thrown them both in bed as they need to be up and parading with beavers and cubs for the Remembrance Day parade tomorrow morning.
Condolences on your loss MOF77, she was a good age but it is never easy no matter what the age.
Toots hope your throat feels better soon, mine is so tickley at the moment it is driving me me mad. Miss A keeps banging me on the back every time I cough! Sounds like you are going to be very busy this next few days, make sure you pace yourself and rest up.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
