Well, I'm still sneezing. I've a nasty feeling it's actually a headcold coming on.

Still, I've sorted out the front room furniture (hurrah!) just need to sort out the stuff I''ve just dumped on shelves in no particular order but that can wait until tomorrow.

I have also finished bottoming out my bedroom (stuff has been moved to front room :) ) and have finished cleaning the bathroom so I'll have my two final stars please Toots when you have moment.

Never did get round to calling DS to arrange pick up today but it is top priority for tomorrow.

Off to watch the TV with a medicinal Gordons now I think

My Gran passed away this morning in her sleep, im really happy for her but sad for my family. She was 93, she has seen more things in her lifetime than i probably ever will, and right up until the end her memory was amazing:) I loved my wednesday night with her as she told me so many stories!! I will miss her loads, but I know she is in a much better place now.........

Im sorry to jump in like this but I needed to get that off my mind!

    RIP Granny xxxxx.

Massive hugs to mumoffour and carol on your losses - if there's anything I can do, please let me know. I'm sorry I've not been around for you both more.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to give me advice, or just lend me an ear - I don't know what I'd do without friends like you! I'm so lucky that I found you all, and can rely on the kindness of people I've never met in real life.

I cheered myself up a bit this afternoon by going into town. I went to our brand new Boots, which is massive and way better than the one we had before, so that I could spend my £5 No7 voucher. I spoke to the lovely advisor, and she sat me down and looked at all of the skincare products and put some on me, and I bought a face wash and some nice new moisturiser. Because I spent over £22, I got a free giftbag with the nailvarnish that I'd admired, a lipgloss, mascara, eyeshadow and 3 skincare products in, worth £33! I also got OH a Christmas present, so spent over £50 and got £10 of extra points on my card! :) Then I got the rest of OH's Christmas pressies, had nice lunch from the bakery whilst listening to a fantastic opera singer who busks in our town, watched a comic magic show who was very rude (dirty jokes) but made me laugh, so I actually gave him some money. Then I went to the local market and got 8 nice sheets of xmas wrapping paper for £1. Bought myself a new pair of tracksuit bottoms for PE using a voucher my Mum gave me, and a nice coffee at Starbucks. Had a lovely day!

Since then, I've done the meal plans and food shopping, and marked all of my RE books and spelling tests and OH is doing the dinner.

I'm off to watch the XFactor and Casualty now.

May pop on later, and if not, in the morning.

    sexymouse xx

Big hugs mumoffour about your Gran. As you say, she had a good life but it still doesn't make her passing any easier xxxx
