My Gran passed away this morning in her sleep, im really happy for her but sad for my family. She was 93, she has seen more things in her lifetime than i probably ever will, and right up until the end her memory was amazing:) I loved my wednesday night with her as she told me so many stories!! I will miss her loads, but I know she is in a much better place now.........

Im sorry to jump in like this but I needed to get that off my mind!

    RIP Granny xxxxx.

love and hugs to you :grouphug:

One has just been let off by someone here, and banged literally outside my bathroom window when I was washing my hands! My heart is racing still. Don't know who did it, but it was obviously a private firework display gone awry. I was very lucky that it didn't go through the window! Poor cat is under the bed again now!

Welcome Loupoppins, get stuck in with us and you will soon be flying with style!

Am back from Mum and Dad's, had lovely afternoon tea, was soooo yummy! And we watched Strictly, which did not impress DH one bit! But it was really good to see them all. Really tired now. Didn't wash up earlier :o but did get some other bits done.

carol hugs and love on your loss, what an awful shock

mumoffour77 - hugs to you too. My gran was 93 when she died and I always like to think she just fell asleep at the end of a long life

greenbee will be on her stopover by now, or near to it....hope all is well

Enjoyed the walk (once DH stopped being grumpy - I am trying to cut him some slack as he's got a lot on at the moment ) and it was about 15 miles in the end. I'm a bit achy as it's a while since we walked that far (and it only took 4.5 hours which is a good pace!) but I had a bath when we got in. The fresh air has done me good and I'm tired so will be heading to bed soon with my book. :D

rose - glad you enjoyed the afternoon tea - sounds yummy though not very healthy!

sexymouse - you MUST phone the union - don't put it off. I know it's hard when you get home at that time and you're shattered (I'm the same) but the sooner you do it the sooner they will log it etc.

Penny well done @ pleasing slave driver toots haha :eek::eek::eek::confused:moi? me? a slave driver - how could you????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am sat here considering what to do about the garage, I am tempted to dump everything we haven't unpacked yet in there so we can get pulled round and do a box at a time.....does that seem insane? This house is smaller & I can't cope with being surrounded by bags & boxes but can sort through them one of a time out of there. I think I will be able to sort what can be sold/given away into there too as at present things just get put away again. I did throw a bag out for charity this week which is progress.

Right ok, today.....hmmm.....think I will start with the kitchen.
yes lil_me if you havent room to decant things in the house then maybe the garage would be a good idea - just so long as you dont forget about them out there:rolleyes:

mumoffour77 hugs and prayers for you and your family too honey - I know how much you enjoyed being with your Gran - you will all miss her.
sexy - sounds like that bit of retail therapy was needed and thoroughly enjoyed xx
rach well done on your walk - you should sleep well tonight honey!

ok today went a bit pear shaped after i left you this morning - I had aanother coughing and struggling to breathe incident over lunch with my carer! NOt as bad as the last one but my throat has been so irritated that i have coughed all afternoon and it just seemed to be caused by crumbs at the back of my throat! anyway i am ok just a bit sore ...again!

I went to see NOF and her hubby for a couple of hours this afternoon but it was so warm in their front room that I could feel my throat getting worse just before i left. but they were pleased to see me so that was nice.

have had a couple of phone calls this evening but have been trying to not talk too much to give my throat a chance to calm down.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
