No, the extras don't count towards stars so you don't have to do them :)

Just had a sneezing fit and want to sneeze more. I'm clearly allergic to all this sorting out in the front room! Have just nipped down homebase and bought a tall bookcase which will help create proper order in there.

Sexym - sounds like you're having a horrible time of it. I have everything crossed that you are successful next week xxx

    Right - back to it!

    Hi everyone

I won't be on here for a while. My dad passed away very suddenly last week with a pulmonary embellis. I've just come back to Manchester, and to be honest housework is the last thing I feel like doing.

Thanks for all your help and love over the time I've been here

  • Carol - I am so sorry to hear your news and like pigpen said, the fly ladies are always here if you need anything. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I haven't actually caught up with the thread, except the last couple of messages but just wanted to let you all know that Tris has come through the third lot of surgery in 3 days and while he hasn't woken up yet, he is still with us so that is a good sign.

Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts. Sorry I haven't read the thread but I will do so later and for now just send hugs and love to anyone who needs it today.

    Hi all,

Massive hugs Carol, take care of yourself xx.

Diva i'm glad Tristan has pulled through again i'm sending healing vibes for him.

It's flipping raining  it keeps stopping and starting. We're going to see what it's like at 5 then decided whether to go ahead or not. I'm hoping after all the work myself & Ds1 have done today it stays dry. I'm pretty much done now apart from getting changed but i'll do that later. I'm having a well deserved cup of coffee now.

Penny well done @ pleasing slave driver toots haha
toots thank you, I will just be pleased when it is over
sexymouse huge hugs and hopes that things improve for you xx
carol ((hugs)) sorry to hear about your Dad honey, take care of yourself x

Thanks cubs mums/leaders, especially MrsChaos what a lovely offer. We do have a shop up near the camp place, so will ask there (must find out when it's open) I did mention it a while ago but the leader just said 'sure you will find them' and wandered off, he's not a very helpful person, I've been trying to get DS2 to move to one nearer home but he likes it there

I am sat here considering what to do about the garage, I am tempted to dump everything we haven't unpacked yet in there so we can get pulled round and do a box at a time.....does that seem insane? This house is smaller & I can't cope with being surrounded by bags & boxes but can sort through them one of a time out of there. I think I will be able to sort what can be sold/given away into there too as at present things just get put away again. I did throw a bag out for charity this week which is progress.

Right ok, today.....hmmm.....think I will start with the kitchen.
One day I might be more organised...........
