Well done on the ebaying and decluttering toots! I have some freecycling to do when I get back (stuff not collected last time, and I need to empty the garage).

Good luck with the flinging thriftmonster. Your DH won't recognise the place when he gets back! Don't forget to charity shop/recycle/freecycle what you can rather than binning it.

Downstairs loo & floor deep cleaned, washing up done, kitchen tidied and surfaces cleared.

Better get myself showered, then I can do the last bits like windows/lights/bins before making my phone calls.

I'll be checking up on you while I'm away ;) so be good for Pigpen & toots!

    Good morning all.

    HELP, PLEASE

Can anyone give me ideas on how to use up a bag of sweet potatoes?
They were reduced at Mr M's last night, and I don't often use them. I'd prefer to freeze them raw, if that's possible, because I also bought a huge amount of bread, bread rolls, teacakes etc (2 full carrier bags for 15p each, which I just had to grab).I already shared with neighbours, but the freezer is quite full - not enough space to store cooked dishes. Thanks very much.

I'll post an update on flying later. So far, breakfast has happened and been cleared away. 2 reduced cooked chickens stripped, most of the meat frozen and the carcasses are in the SC for stock. DS1 is burning loads of paperwork in the new incinerator and it's time for sorting washing and general flying, I think. See you all later.

Try this - sweet potatoes ;) I'd have a baked one for lunch, with creme fraiche, butter, pepper and nutmeg :j

DONE!!! That is my first on and it was fab, ran about mad so keeping fit as wel lol!! Her is what I done in my 30 mins:-

Washed out bath and surrounding tiles, dried and put stuff back
Brushed bathroom floor, brushed hall floor, kitchen floor & hall
Mopped the bathroom floor, kitchen, hall and DD's room floor
Cleared the remnants of the halloween decorations from the party away from hall.
Washed marks off the wall that had been left from party!
Thanks everyone, gonna have a quick coffee before the troops get back from swimming!
