Trousers collected, car filled up with petrol (well, I needed it to get home, and at least I wont' have to do it when I get back.
Suitcase packed. Hand luggage packed. Just need to do handbag (I've decided I can't get away with my lovely little backpack, so am taking a capacious black bag (not too precious either) which I can have my book, toiletries etc in to save me having to dig around in my hand luggage at security. Anyway, my laptop and work paperwork fit very nicely into the hand luggage bag with my PJs, swimming stuff and a change of clothes, so I know it'll do for short trips where I don't have to wear a suit.
Right... bins, washing up, loo etc need doing, then I need to shower and change so I'm ready for the taxi...
Oh yes... must go and see the neighbours first!0 -

You have to be the registered Badge Secretary to buy badges, sorry. Ask at cubs - I'm sure they'll buy a second set for you

Ah.....! Now that looks better. Did the DW, cleared b/fast, swept crumbs off table, emptied the bins and tidied up generally, esp beds and washing heaps...
Why is it that, when you think you have finished with a sink, and you have put drain clearer down it, you find that *everything* you want to do next involves pouring slops down the drain.....
Cup of tea now, while smiling sweetly at godson in the hope that he will go and pack up his own bed and bedding.... He knows by now where it all goes......
Hugs to everyone who wants them - I may disappear now until the new thread appears. Have a great weekend.

Morning all.
Took dh to the airport at 5.30 this morning  - he's off to Saudi till Thursday and have just brought ds2 back from his familiarisation morning for the 11+ - so apart from church I have the rest of the weekend free:D.There is a major declutter planned here!!!! I bought 20 binbags at Mr S (will that be enough??) and can be ruthless when dh is out of the way:rolleyes:
Lil me - as a cub leader - PenPen is right - but don't be embarrassed to ask - badges get mislaid all the time and as long as it's not a Silver Award they can all be replaced. You could always offer to pay (they cost about 50p each) but I know we would refuse to take payment - the main reason we get given is that they went to Granny's to be sewn on and she lost them enroute:D - nothing like blaming someone else!!! HTH
Right I can feel a 2700 fling boogie coming on - and yes I did mean the noughts:rolleyes:“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
