  • Evening all

I have booked myself in to see my cousin's 'foot lady' next Thursday ;)

Oh, I bought a gingerbread house in IKEA today as it was only £2.50 and I'm in the middle of making mincemeat, so I decided to buy it. becs, what a lovely thing to do, making one for your nephews. I hope it survives the journey. Are you Scottish? jacobsmum, I'm sure your wee man will love it. It was funny in IKEA today. A wee boy who was about 4 was so excited. I was standing beside him and his mum and brother who was about 6. He shouted to me 'Guess what, I'm going on the carousel!!' and we had a chat about the carousel. His big brother was mortified hee hee.

Oh, Fuzz honey, take me off the list for Friday please. The witch got me today :(

I'm late in getting to my bed again. I need to sort out my bedtime routine

Night night lovelies...hugs all round xx

    Hello ladies

Well cycle day 8 or something very boring, this weekend is my oh's birthday so ;-)

I was just thinking about how I felt when I got pregnant with my litte dude zach. Totally normal everything except for my boobs were bigger but i didn't notice this till i was already a couple of days late. I had period pain around the normal time and everything but it just didn't come. So I am 100% not going to obsess about symptoms etc. It's just going to be a long wait from o to see if she shows her face.

I know a few girls trying for babies and they get very upset obsessing over details so i have to try hard not to do this too. I also know from people that when they actually got pregnant is either the month they thought it wouldnt happen or when they gave up.

It's a backwards world when someone can go and get drunk one night out of 365 and it so happens they fall pregnant and yet ladies all over the world are trying every month and it's taking longer. So perhaps the secret is to get dressed up have a good old drink with your other half and fall into bed together then forget it happened until two weeks later? It's like when i buy a lottery ticket I don't let myself choose what i'd spend the money on if i won cause then i know i won't win. lol.

Anyway midnight ramblings done. Trying very hard not to pick up my pregnancy book and read the conceiving chapter again. When you want something so much it's really difficult to switch it out of your mind isn't it. I have never felt like this before. Zachary just appeared out of the blue.

Morning everyone, mirror image at least you have some idea what you are letting yourself in for. Even though being pregnant is quite unhealthy for me I'm still glad I've had mine one at a time. Its very hard early on.

Laura I was only about 21 when me and OH decided to try for our first, I'm glad we have had our children young, nothing wrong with waiting either but it was the right choice for us. I'm 28 now and trying for number 3 but it'll be the last one this time. OH does not want to go through losing another so it had better be a sticky one - nothing like pressure. I dont think it'll happen anytime soon, I'm hoping for feb ish so baby born nov next year which would be perfect with the older 2 both being settled in full time school by then.

*Really really realy bad mother alert*

Dropped my little lad (aged 11) off at the bus stop this morning, checked to see if he had his keys, he didn't so told him to go home with a friend then ring me to tell me where he was and I'd try to get home earlier. I then forgot all about it.

My husband got home this evening at 5.30 to find little lad couldn't find anyone to go home with and he'd been sat on the doorstep for 2.5 hours. 2.5 hours in the cold, dark and rain :eek::eek::eek::eek: How bad a mother do I feel right now?!? He's still warming up, poor little boy :o

No need for anyone to call social services, I'll do it myself. Not sure I should be allowed to ttc another!
Whoops!!!! lol I'm ure he'll now be mentally scarred for life:p:rotfl:
