I think IC's (Internet Cheapies) are reliable. Af may be delayed if you're poorly.?
LauraLou try here to find a local practictioner, mine is listed here although I came accross her because she is the partner of a man I work with.

Well I have an assembled gingerbread house which I now need to leave to set overnight so will have to decorate it in the morning before we drive up to Scotland! Only hope it survives the journey! Mind you I know my nephews will love it even if it arrives in bits!
  • hope everyone is well.

Hoping this month is the month, although got a few more days until I can test, had really sore boobs for a couple of days, hoping it's not a sign of impending AF.

    babydust to everyone x

Hi, thanks to everyone who has asked after me. I'm OK and getting a bit better every day.

Several packets of sanitary towels later the bleeding from the MC has slowed down a lot - passed a lot of painful blood clots over the weekend and had a couple of really bad nights with it. I think I'm just about over the traumatic episode in a&e now. If it happened a week earlier I would have been stranded at an awards ceremony in Leeds so there's something to be thankful of.

Back at work today but no one knows except the big boss.

I had to tell my family we were ttc due to what happened to me at a&e so they all know now and have been incredibly supportive and lovely. I don't know why I didn't tell them the first time it happened in Feb. My older sister may be thinking about ttc now I've 'come out' which would be lovely really if we went through it together. (As long as I can be first lol).

Catwoman, I really hope you are ok - you really are v brave and marvellous you know. To those who are stopping smoking - well done you lot, you will reap the benefits, I hope you are using the NHS service as they are there to help and support. We will of course provide cheerleading services to you all too.

Seriously thinking about the reflexology too - it sounds fab and a bit of pampering (is it nice?) wouldn't go amiss right now.

Take care - hugs to those that want 'em.

    Katy xx

Katy glad to hear you're getting some support and things are settling down a bit for you. Reflexology was mainly very pleasant and relaxing although when she does the bit about checking out your ovaries and then the bit to try and produce more than 1 egg it was a bit sore. She said if I had been "riper" (closer to ov) then it wsould have hurt more! But 99% of it was lovely!

JacobsMum it was one I've made myself. DH saw the kits for £12 at Good Food show today and said the last one I made was much better and bigger so wouldn't let me buy it! So I used this recipe, templates and full instructions are on there too. It was really easy, I'll post some pics when it's finished! Only thing was needed tubes of white writing icing which co op didn't have so it's yellow! Don't think that'll matter though! Also didn't have any cake boards to put it on so have had to use the lid of a large tupperware box so not sure I'll do the snow icing around it yet!

have been a bit down today, been mega busy at work and had some really hard work patients in, feel emotionally drained from having to be nice all day when feeling miserable!!

oh is being lovely as always, but for some reason even that is not cheering me up tonight, sorry for the moan.......

  • i have my reasons lol we have a 10 yr old and a 7 yr old, both boys whom we love dearly but hubby is 44 in january and im 30 we were having a baby this time last yr and he said that was definatley our last one but i miscarried anyway afterwards i said no more ever and then i got broody again and he has said yes ok but definatley the last one (he thinks he is getting to old) so i thought i would try for twins and then i dont need anymore lol

all v strange here... AF is now 2/3 days late, have had mild cramping which has now settled down to dull pains on right hand side. no idea what's going on, think i may have willed my cycle into messing up though since i'm concentrating on it so much (happened last month! gonna try and hold out till friday to test though.

hope you've all had lovely evenings xx
