Evening all! I'm officially still low on CD7, which I expected. I'm sooooooooo looking forward to going to high! It's so exciting!!! :rotfl:

I'm pooped, had psychology after school today - the kids are awesome and I love it - but it makes it a long day. Not to mention the fire alarm went off at lunchtime and they didn't extend lunch. Now I coped with it (although I'm pooped and nearly pee'd myself)! My friend was back for her first day today...she didn't have time to finish her lunch or go to the loo!!! WELL OUT OF ORDER! I managed to class sit so she could sort herself out, but imagine if everyone was teaching!!

I wasn't best pleased. A lot of the kids ended up not eating as well which was a bit out of order if you ask me!

  • I have a question about maternity pay and smp and stuff??

If you are in a union, then your union will have a leaflet. Otherwise try directgov or nhs. SMP is about 112 quid a week, I think. If you don't goback to your job for a period of time after baby is born, and resign, then you may have to pay back maternity pay.

I am on CD 10, and ...feeling quite positive.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Awww....I was in your daughters position when I was 16. We had our window put through with a brick and that was me for the evening! Nice. It didn't get fixed for 2 years though....we had a plastic sheet instead. Hmmm....

Ah stef, i'm sorry, that really wasn't what you needed!

And I'm sorry to be feeling sorry for myself when others have it so much worse, but I'm in need of another rant/stress. I've been getting myself in a tiz since about 5pm as I've yet again had a crap day working at home. I oversleep by 1hr 30min for a start by continually pressing the snooze button (every 2min!), which was a really bad start - then just never really got into it. Had been trying to catch up a bit this eve but its just made me realise how much i need to do and made me worse. OH came home from footie and has just made me worse grrrrr. He mentioned booking time to holiday which i realised i really should do as haven't got much done, but then said he'd be really angry at me if i do that. He hasn't exactly helped by not getting dressed until 2pm, then asking me how to do his tax return and luring in a cat to play whilst i tried to work. grrrrr. He says I should work at the weekend to catch up, but I really want and need a weekend :(

stef thanks for the dodgy group hug - I think that is what we need.

I wish I had an excuse for feeling so emotional, but I'm only just into the 2ww. Nah, no one that can help really, i can delegate stuff to others at work but its all stuff that would take longer to explain than to do. I have the time, that is part of the problem, as i haven't really got clear deadlines. One thing i have got done today though is mapping out the next few weeks so that I know exactly what I'm doing each day instead of having everything weighing on me. So I am going to turn over a new leaf and everything is going to be better.

I'm also going to read a free online psychological self help book I found a while back to try to stop myself procrastrinating.
