TBH i never look at the pics on a site just the information i was looking for in the first place. Hope you are feeling ok Ali as i know it is not a nice place to be at.
Im currently stuck in bed with daytime tv on as background noise while paying bejewelled blitz on FB. Have found i 'gush' everytime i stand up so cooking is out of the question for me. I also love being in the kitchen but these past 3 weeks hubby has taken over with instructions being barked into him if i hear he is not doing something the way i would do it. Probably being neurotic but feel my place is being nicked lol:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Prof Leslie Regan was talking about it. I'd hate to paraphrase it wrongly but effectively, aspirin may not be suitable in those with no prior problems and could induce an mc and it should be used after tests have confirmed a clotting problem and on docs orders.
Is the spotting continual? Do you have a followup appointment booked?
It sounds so damn frustrating. I'd be doing squats to get it all out. Time seems to stand still doesn't it?
I don't know whether to up my folic acid too.
Its so hard as doctors/experts give such contradicting information !!
My spotting is only when I wipe but has been like this for weeks. I have to do another pg test on 28th and if it is still positive I have to go in. However if I am still spotting then then test will show up positive. However they have assured me for a natural mc spotting and/or bleeding for this length of time is normal. I could of had tablets and it would of been over quickly but I want to let nature do it, fingers crossed it will all be over soon.0 -

Stef 'gushing' does not sound great, hope your ok. When is your next appointment ?0 -
I dont have another app as such i am having after care via my gp due to the treatment received at the hospital. DR said to go in and see him if i feel things arent right. I did a pg test sunday and it was still showing +ve so after finding that link last night it makes a lot of sense to how the weeks have been progressing.
Had very bad cramps this morning which are almost like for like the ones mentioned in the article but a couple of cocodamol has subdued that. I think the 'gushing' is probably due to resting. I had the same after c section. As you are in a comfy position you dont notice a slight flow of bleeding/spotting but as soon as you stand and move around you can help gravity it has to come out hence the 'gush'. Luckily most of this is now going when i go to the loo which the visits have increased today so i dont feel like im sitting in a flooded pad.
Going to give it a few more days and see how it goes, take another test over the weekend and if it is still showing +ve then i will go and ask about a dnc or other options available.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

i was told after having my son that when you lie down the blood tends to 'pool' in the virgina (MW words not mine lol) so when you standin up it just comes 'gushing' out
we BD'd last night OH complained because i used his pillow0 -
Penny and Stef,
I'm so so sorry both of you are still going through this. I feel like a fraud sometimes because as my GP said, "Your body is just very good at getting rid of things" I hope it doesn't always act so hostile!!
I miscarried naturally for one whole day and then nothing. I thought I was still pregnant for a while because it was so quick but pg test disagreed with me.
I am eating lots of fruit, veg and nuts and have cut out caffeine now. I still have my beloved tea but it's decaf and it's not too bad although at £2.80 for 40 bags, not very MS.0 -

LADYLEGS - thanks for your comments and im glad you managed to get back to 'normal' fairly quickly, i would imagine it is easier to deal with mentally if you have a natural mc and regain your womb rather fast so to speak. This is a lot more painful in both the mental and physical state but in a weird way i think i still prefer the natural way to an invasive surgical procedure.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Oh I also heard about a diet called 'the flash diet' where you have to take a photo of everything you eat. It sounds like it could work really well. I've not tried it, but I've kind of imagined that I'm doing it and just focused on health health health. Hummm, am I making any sense (see - i need that smily again!)
I'm gonna need some more memory cards then.:rotfl:
