    Hey everyone,

Well I was meant to go for a full body massage this evening, but my train was delayed by about 50min so I missed my appointment  Oh well, I've got another booked for next wed, and tbh I prob would have fallen asleep on the table today!

Ali, make sure you and OH give each other lots of cuddles, and give yourself time to decide where to go from here xxx

Twinklie, glad to hear good news from your friend, and that you enjoyed POASing! I can't imagine how hyper you are going to go when it says you are high! :rotfl:

rik and stef, I have a retroverted uterus too, but haven't tried the pillow trick. It might be handy as it does tend to all come out straight away no matter what i do (sorry for the TMI!). Don't you just get the pillow all wet

sexki11en, i was sad to read about you considering stopping TTC . I'm sure you would cope somehow, but i guess that isn't a sensible approach. One thing on my ideas list is becoming a childminder myself - then you get an income but also get to be with your own baby.
Proud to be a moneysaver!

Regarding losing weight, I'm overweight too, and I am trying to do something about it as I know it will help my chances, but apart from anything else for me with a long commute (1h15ish minimum each way) and often having to stand on the train (nope, hardly anyone cares if you're pregnant, I had a stick last week with my sprained ankle and despite my obvious pain no one gave me their seat - b*stards) I just think the more I can lose first the easier it will be. I'm doing ww on the freebie trial that martin sent round at the moment and have lost 3lb in my first week and a bit, hoping it will carry on.

Didn't get in from work til 7.40 tonight so am now tucked up in bed with lappy whilst DH and his mate watch the footie. Might have a bath in a bit but not sure I can even be bothered!

  • Anyone taking aspirin should listen to radio 4 from 4.45 pm today, I think the programme was "case notes" a woman was on who's a specialist in early MC. (podcast)

    Hope all is good today.

I did not hear it what did they say ?

When I had my mc they told me to start taking a quarter aspirin a day and also to increase my folic acid to 5mg a day.

I was wondering that too. :rotfl::rotfl:

I have been told in the past I have a tilted cervix...is that linked? Had to have smear done 3 times once as they kept getting an incompetent sample...and on the 3rd visit to the nurse I was so wound up and tense it really hurt and she had to get the dr in to help!

I couldn't find specifics on this, but found a lot of vague "just before your period is due" info. Who knows if that is one day or 3 before:confused:

    4am for a sale:eek::eek: blimey!

The only thing to get me up at that time is a full bladder (ooh, ss-ing???)

Thanks hun, my friends think im mad for getting up at that time for a sale.

Have been lurking but not posting so:

Portsmouthali: so sorry to hear your sad news, I'm sure it's no easier second time around

Dustystar02: I got very excited using ov sticks first month, but then despondent as got no line and therefore lost all incentive to BD. Hope that doesn't happen to you. Here's to deep pink lines for you!

I'm almost at end of 2ww - AF due today, so tomorrow will be officially late - OH asked what do we do - had to tell him by patient! With me as the 2ww drags on I get more and more convinced we didn't do it enough and that I don't feel any different so can't be preggers.

Penny, it is available on the iplayer - there is a little bit on mc.

Do you take 5mg and aspirin if you get a bfp or from ttc?

    .

you are supposed to put the pillow under the bottom of your back not your bum, that way it tilts properley, that's what i find anyway.

Are there any more old wives tale we could be trying?
