  • Hello all,

As some of you might know from the 12 weeks thread, I have m/c'd again.

Can't quite believe it's happened again, almost identical to how it happened back in October. Going for the scan was like Groundhog day, it was the same almost word for word! So, am now awaiting nature to take it's course as it were, got another scan next Thursday to make sure everything's clear.

So, here I am again. :o I've told work I'm not going back just yet, I work in customer services and if I have to listen to someone moaning on about their electric bill as if it's the most important thing in the world, I might just lose it

To be honest, I don't know if I can face the possibility of this happening a 3rd time, although I realise that it's not a decision we can rationally make right now. I just don't want to waste my son's childhood obsessing about having another baby or grieving for ones that we've lost. We'll see. Thanks for all your kind messages, you guys are really the only ones that know so I'm gratefull you're all here xxx

Anyway - onto happier things! Welcome Lolly  and hugs to anyone who needs them xxxxxx

i think my biggest problem is the antcipation of something going wrong..IYSWIM....because we have had unprotected sex for a year but no more babies it just gets me worried and im one of those people who worry about everything and if there isnt anything to worry about i find stuff lol.

your OH ex sounds like a lovely woman...some women defy logic...like OH ex...they were together 3 yrs or so and they had their ups and down they were trying for another baby....she got pregnant then without even telling my OH she was PG calles him up from the appoint and says oh by the way im pg but im at my clinic appoint...im not keeping it...he couldnt do anything about it...turns out she was cheating on him...so im guessing she thought the baby wasnt his so to save that arguement did what she did...evil woman!

Ali, can't really say it is "nice" to see you back here..in such circumstances it's just so sad and unfair but er, welcome back anyway. Sounds like you have a lot of thinking to do but you sound pretty sorted and will know what to do from here.
I don't know what else to say but there is certainly a lot of support and concern for you on here. xx

Ali i am so sorry to see you back with us. Hope you are ok,really big hugs to you. To be honest with you theres not much i can say, as at the end of the day its your choice about weather you can keep trying and risk it not happening again. I hope you take a long hard think about it and remember we are all here. I started to think about waiting a bit longer, am still young but i just couldnt only going to wait a couple of months.
As you know we are all here.

dusty when i first started with the OV test, i got really excited!!

How many days before af is due does temp drop back down to normal.

I couldn't find specifics on this, but found a lot of vague "just before your period is due" info. Who knows if that is one day or 3 before:confused:

    4am for a sale:eek::eek: blimey!

The only thing to get me up at that time is a full bladder (ooh, ss-ing???)
  • Ali - big hugs for you hon...you're right in that you should be enjoying your sons childhood...it so precious.

Having said that you need some time to grieve. Quite right your not going back to work for a while..I know exactly how you'd feel, I'd be tempted to tell someone where to stick their electricity bill if they started on me at the moment.

I've just lost it myself..its probably quite funny in reality but wasn't just now. I was feeding my cats, put lots of sloppy wet catfood into the bowls (the smell turns my stomach anyway) and as I went to put the bowls down, I dropped them and hey presto...catfood all over the floor, walls, fridge...everywhere!!!

I just went mental...never seen cats move so fast!

    Evening Ladies :)

I've only read the last page, welcome to the new ladies :)

Ive not been on for a couple of weeks, as DH and I made a conscious decision not to TTC this month (because I lost my job this month), and ideally we would wait until I got another job and can build up maternity leave. But it has been soooooooo hard. I'm past my OV stage this month - so know for sure that AF will be here. I don't even know which CD I'm on! Pleased that I knew when I ov'd cos had a bit of EWCM and slight ov twinges. I've been umming and ahhing about getting the swine flu jab (asthmatic), but didnt when I was ttc in case of the possible risks. So I took the opportunity this month of getting it (took DH with me and got his 'n' hers matching jabs :) )

I'm still jobless - but am actually really enjoying being a housewife. Ive never been out of work since I was 16, so its such a culture shock! But its surprising how much stuff I can get done - thats one of the reasons Ive hardly been on MSE, cos I've been too busy! So part of me doesnt want to go back to work, and DH likes it that I'm in to cook him dinner before he goes to work.

Anyway, enough waffling from me. Im going to try and read back as far as I can, so huge CONGRATULATIONS to Jan's BFPs :j Wishing a happy and healthy 8 months.

So sorry to Ali and Laura - my thoughts are with you at this difficult time x

Mmm, yummy! what flavour does the kitchen smell of? Hope it's not a fishy one.
    Can't help the nausea much.
The clumsy thing is really supposed to kick in when you're preggars, isn't it?
My coordination is appalling so I've got no hope. I go to pick something up and do this odd sort of push-it-away-further movement. It's bizarre. I am a left-hander though.
