Hi Katy
This is the basic recipe - I quite often throw some raisins in just before I roll the dough out. I'm quite lazy, and have a hand blender with dough hook attachments on it so I just toss all the dry ingredients in a bowl then slowly add the milk while using the hand blender. If you're doing it by hand, which I did at first, then to start with just mix the milk in with a spoon then get your hands in as it gets close to the right texture.
Scones –Makes 13-15
16oz s/r flour,
2 oz caster sugar,
4 oz softened butter,
large tsp baking powder
8floz (240ml) milk,
220 C - gas 7 for 15 minutes.
mix ingredients together, kneed for a minute to smooth dough, roll out to at least 1.5" thick. Try not to twist the cutter. Pop on a baking tray and brush the tops with milk if you remember!0 -
Good Afternoon everyone.
Sorry to here re AF maddie, but if you don't get your OV sticks from ebay superdrug still has them BOGOF (own brand) or Boots has offers on the clearblue ones . .
I went back to work today, not sure anyone apart from my boss knows and will probably keep it that way, office full of middle aged men! Sent a text to my boss asking if I could take it easier as was meant to be training most of the day but not really sure could cope, thankfully a colleague is doing most of the delivery. Think I need something to try to take my mind of things which is working.
Seem to have stopped bleeding almost and did a pg test today to check things have gone and was a BFN, which I expected but was still upseting to have it confirmed. Anyway PMA to think I got pg once I can again, so will start using opk sticks in a week or so and get back to bding!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

I like that idea sounds easy in pratice we told ourselves that for the first two months. The stress is bad & I don't think it helps at all.
Good luck to you my friends tell me it's the best way & attitude to have.:TIf you can think it........it will happen0
