Ah Twinklie use your feminine charms! And if that doesn't work show him this thread as to how long it's taken/taking some of us! Mind you if you did get him to change his mind and did get pg would you not feel sad going through your pg without him for so much?0

3 months ago we decided to make a baby
my wife bought 2 ovaluation test kits from boots costing some 17 quid i think.. but being a money saving expert follower i sent them back and got refund.
instead of finding her most fertile day we decided sex morning and evening eevry day that month;)
shatered in the end of the month but we defenitly hit the right target and today she had her first scan.. we saw our baby and he/she looked like it was drinking a pint of beer0 -
I've done about 18 of those things on the list...to a greater or lesser extent.
Welcome to the newbies and congrats on the BFPs to those who have them. Hugs to those who are feeling down.
I'm really tired so off to bed in a moment, I'll be very glad after Friday when I have 2 weeks of no commute/work!
I had a bit of a freak out last night about what if we do get a bfp on our first month....thinking are we ready (we decided v quickly in the end to ttc after being unsure of the timing for ages), and thinking that if it happens this month i'm one month short of getting enhanced maternity. BUT I realise that a) it's unlikely month 1 of ttc, esp with pcos, and 2) we do want to get pg and as we have no idea if we even can conceive and how long it will take.
I'm enjoying all the bding (trying to do every other day most of the way through the month, more towards the middle, less at the start and end) but it is exhausting!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Morning everyone
Quick update
AF is here this morning so a definite BFN. But I'm almost pleased as atleast I can start trying again over christmas etc..
Am shattered today dont think I slept too well.
Speak soon.

Also looking at the pros rather than the cons, will give us more time to save money, I can get super organised with my charting and temp taking etc, I can have lots of lovely drinkie poos over christmas, And I will still have a better chance to fit into my wedding dress
. Think I might even attempt to do some of the things on that list asap, like the goal weight one as its the easiest, as I did kind of cheat and include it last time. :rotfl:

Morning all!! :rudolf:
OMG - you lot can talk - it's taken me ages to catch up on the thread!!
Congrats to everyone with their BFP's!!!! Yay!!!:j
missymoo81 - sorry about your BFN - glad to see you are looking at the positive side of things, like Christmas drinkies!!
I'm STILL in the 2-million-centuries-wait (that's how long it feels!!) AF is due in 5 days, and if it isn't here this time next week I'll be testing. SS'ing a bit now - felt a bit nauseous this morning when I got out of the shower..... probably just the water too hot though!!
Mrs Claus outfit sounds fab twinklie!! I keep meaning to pop into Ann Summers and get a few 'surpises' for DH..... haven't bothered yet though - don't fancy town 10 days before Christmas!!
Awww Courgette & kitkat5566 - I think you should both stay here as long as you want!!
Eek @ Radsteral - I only just about managed to BD once during my fertile period this month - I think if I told DH we were BD'ing every day & night he would have a heart attack!! Plus I would be walking like John Wayne
Right, best go & pretend to do some work - lots of sticky baby dust for everyone!!

oooh ann summers think I might have to call in and see what I can find,
think I would give OH a heart attack though, he'll think all of his christmas's have come at once!!!

Aww Missy sorry to hear that AF got you, but good on you for looking forwards and being positive!
Having drinkies over the festive season is definitely one big positive of not being preg, so I'm going to follow your PMA and if I get another BFN this month, just really concentrate on enjoying Christmas and get back on the job in Jan.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
