Hi Gymfriend (we obviously have stalkers from the pg thread on here too then! )
Thank you so much. I really want to be following in your footsteps and you can tell me how awful it's been! Hope you aren't doing too badly. On the me front well still no sign of af, all cramping gone but have had a stitch like feeling on my left side today. Felt dizzy/fain again this afternoon but that could just be mind playing tricks on me! Good news on the blood test though as levels were fine so no af is not due to that again!
Gymfriend have you had to have an mri whilst you've been pg? I had mine last weds and get the results on monday. I was quite shocked to read up about the dye they've used previously and am thankful they didn't use it this time (think they've mucked up on that one!) as not a cat in hells chance I owuld have had it done if there had even been a teensy chance of being pg.

Nope no MRI whilst pregnant - I've been lying low and hoping not to be seen too much, I know it's a bit naughty but hoping for a lovely straight forward water birth at the moment so trying to stay under the radar so they don't collar me and stop me I dread to think what they do to us sometimes, and the effects the drugs have on us, I'm semi tempted to just stay off them once baby is here and see what happens, if no AF is the only symptom & the headaches don't come back, I think that would be ok

I was chatting a friend about it all yesterday, she's desperate to have a baby. She's had 2 mc's in the last few months and is really low at the moment. She was saying that she wouldn't miss a 'party lifestyle' at all, and I kind of understand that. I'm 36 and have had a blast..been all round the world, met and known some amazing people and partied hard (a bit too hard someimes I have to say! ), so I could never say I've missed out on anything.

I'm glad I waited..I only hope I havent left it too late!

BFN! :'o( But I dont understand how AF can be 8 days late when that has never happened in my life and the test still be neg... Am in tears didnt realise how much I wanted a baby, and how difficult and hard this is mentally..... I'm sorry for moaning as I know you have all been through it lots of times, it sucks doesnt it.

I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up. I did a test on saturday because it was works xmas do but it was bfn. Was only 12dpo then which is my normal lp so I know it's still early. I'm going to try and hold out until wednesday as would have thought af would have shown by then. I'm convinced it's just another cruel hoax!
Glad to see you're keeping under the radar. I think if and when I ever do have that elusive bundle of joy I will come off teh meds until we're ready to try again. I've heard a lot of women stay off the drugs and everything stays normal after pg so here's hoping! The bromo makes me feel really nauseas in the morning so would never know if I had morning sickness! I can't believe a bfp is possible, I don't want to let myself believe. It's been so long now.
I can't wait to hear all about your little one when they arrive, do you know what you're having?

aww Missy I'm sorry hon . Sometimes though people can get BFN's and still be preg though can't they? Maybe you sould have a chat with your dr?

I totally know how upsetting it is hon. It's so disappointing I know.

missy sorry about the bfn, i've done tests before and had a bfn but then a week later got a bfp so theres still hope. if i can remember rightly (bad memory at the mo!) is this your first cycle off trying?

Thankyou everyone for your kind words, can't believe how upset I am, I had practically convinced myself I was pg as I am so late.... stupid I know.

Think will make an appt with the doc tomorrow, am now even more worried there might be something wrong with me that there is no AF!!!

God I hope every month isnt as mentally painful as this, how do you all cope? Do you just write this month off and wait for the next and start again?

Thanks for the hugs my goodness I need them, I so wish OH was here, sometimes it's crappy him working away.

missy, sorry it was a bfn. Sometimes AF just stays away to make us crazy I think.

Hey Laura Lou We've kind of tried on and off since early Sep I have been off the pill for six months and was lucky enough to have AF straight away and was regular straight away, this is the first month I have been late
