right am I best to do the test now or the morning, will it be massively different, is it the difference between a pos or neg or just how dark the line is, as I only got one test but dont think I will sleep if I do it tomorrow...aaaahhhh god this is killing me!

Yeah after seeing my sis inlaw suffer with PND I'm terrified of it. But at the same time...it's so worth it. I think it would do me good to become less selfish and think about someone else for a change anyway.

OMG...I'm REALLY broody. It's silly...and I'm not even ttc at the moment.

First Morning Urine is the best so really you should wait. Its when the hormone is the strongest. So it's more likely to give an accurate result rather than doing it now.

  • I know the sensible thing to say would be to wait till tomorrow missy, but I know what I'm like and I wouldn't be able to wait!

Yep I worry about PND too..I'm prone to a bit of depression anyway...but you're right, I think it would all be worth it.

You do realise I'm a complete hypocrite and I would have done it already! But I was trying to be grown up about it. :rotfl:

Looking at how ace my 4 and a half month old nephew is I'd do it in a heart beat! Now if only I could convince DH that we should just try again anyway!

  • Yes!! Oh my god MV, I'm so glad you said that. I hope that's the case with all of us without children and maybe those with older kids too. You get into a routine and used to doing what you want to do when you want to do it, and then a baby changes everything and you can't even take a shower when you feel like it.

One of the reasons I've left ttc so late is that I'm from a really huge irish family. My mam got sick when I was in my early teens and my big sister was terminally unreliable so the responsibility for looking after the other kids and my mam fell to me (da was out working double shifts). I'd have to cook multiple dinners, wash up, get them ready for school, deal with them screaming when I did leave the house, help with their homework, bathe them, put them to bed, do the washing etc. I perfected a technique of nappy changing with one hand while feeding another with the other. All at the same time as trying to pass my exams, dealing with chronic fatigue from glandular fever and trying to be a normal teenager. By the time I left home, I felt like I had raised my kids and I loved being on my own. Now though, I really miss it.

you're really best to test with FMU but if you can't wait, make sure you dont drink for a bit so your wee is really concentrated.
