I tried ov sticks for the first time last week, and got a positive line on thursday, so BD'd Thursday night and Friday night..so in theory I guess that should have been my most fertile time.
Not holding my breath by any means, but fingers crossed.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
You should take your temperature at exactly the same time every day and should always take it before you get out of bed. If you have a disturbed nights sleep or are ill that can affect the temp. When you chart you will see a drop and then a big rise which will indicate that you have ovulated. As I said with temping you don't know beforehand only after you have ov'd so not good for predicting ov more for building up a history or pattern to show when you usually ov. Fertility friend has a good tutorial on the site as well.0

He's doing his PhD down in Wales so we only see each other at weekends. Funds are limited to say the least (although I'm managing to OP the mortgage), and we live (or rather I live) in a renovation project that we don't have time to do up right now. But we'd both love one - but both want to be fully around and would need to baby proof the house (it's far from right now).Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Um, I kind of feel like I am still ttc. Yes I've had a BFP but AF isn't even due til tomorrow, it will be 3 weeks til I'm past the stage of the mc then a further 5 weeks up to 12 weeks so I feel that although I'm over the first hurdle I've got a very very long way to go.
Although I want this soooooo much I daren't be happy cos I'm scared it will be taken away from me again, then I feel guilty because that's unfair on this baby - I want to enjoy every second of this pg just like I enjoyed every day (except the day I mc'd) of my last pg.
I'm still in shock to the point I pranged my car in the car park at work this morning - been driving for about 8 years and have never done this.
I would love to still be able to hang around here, I don't want to go over to the pg board where I don't even know anyone. If I could wave a magic wand and give everyone here their sticky BFP I would do it in a heartbeat.
Lots and lots of love ladies, you're awesome and thanks for putting up with my mood swings
xxx
I totally agree with you Courgette, I still feel like I am TTC. I am 5 weeks gone but have to wait another 7 until I know if everythings ok, so far I have eaten and drank all the wrong things as I didnt know i was preg and keep totally freaking out everytime i feel a pain. I would love to hang around the TTC forum.
Lots of hugs to all of you, xxxx0 -
It's a little boy Becs
There was no mistaking his manhood at the scan!!
Yeah I've read quite a lot about baby hormones fixing the tumours, so really hoping that'll happen, though if not I'll just play it by ear. Will be keeping everything crossed til Wednesday for you, really hoping this is it, xx (don't lose hope - look at me! I'd all but given up trying!) & on that note, sorry to but in, but Kitkat, don't worry about what you've been eating & drinking, the Friday before I got my BFP (think about 10dpo) I went out and got through a good couple of bottles of wine with OH, and baby's doing well
Will disappear now so I don't keep butting in, but will be lurking & quietly stalkingBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -

Metravil Vavin: I'm in pretty much the same boat as you except that I'm a year older than you. Me and OH had never experienced pregnancy before so I didn't even know if I could conceive and I also worried that I had left it too late.
I got PG in October; am pretty certain I'm miscarrying at the moment although this won't be confirmed until Wednesday. I've had two weeks of going to and from the hospital so am ok about it now and am taking huge comfort in the fact that I can get Pregnant. It may be slightly obvious that I am looking at the positives only! Like Laura lou said, it also gives us more time to save up!
I therefore don't think that you should be unduly worried about leaving it too late although I do know exactly where you're coming from.
Let's hope your OV BD'ing had done the trick; it's how I conceived. I personally swear by OV sticks.
Love to all and for those who recently conceived I've still got everything crossed for you!

Ah fab Gymfriend I shall look forward to hearing of his arrival! You are my hope even though I've been trying longer than it took you! I tried reflexology this month and she has treated 2 other women with prolactinomas (don't like this it's getting too common now! Kinda liked having something rarer!
) anyway they've both gone on to have babies so keeping the hope - well in the distance! :rotfl:I can tell you this though if by some miracle it s a bfp this month I will be straight round to the reflexologist (only lives round the corner) to thank her for the most amazing christmas pressie ever!

Right, I told DH I WANT ONE! And he was really pleased. Still said not now though - boo. I've got a Mrs Claus outfit though, so I might try and change his mind over the festive period. The logical me thinks just wait 2 years though and all will be well. Of course, I'm assuming I'm one of the seemingly many "Oh, I looked at my fella and now I'm pregnant!".Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
